  1. Personally i like comp.. its steeper and more of a challenge.. Banshee hill feels too much like olds in glamis.. anyone and thier rhino can go up it..

either hill is cool, but i personally like banshee hill. comp is usually all whooped out and it is definitely steeper and more of a challenge but for drag racing i would say banshee hill. just my .02.

  2. My only concern is Trash... This has been a HUGE issue w/ the group that runs out in glamis.. they show up in the middle of the summer to a pristine hill and TRASH IT.. both the hill gets wasted w/ them dragging on it all night... the Bottles, cans, and other assorted garbage that is left behind is retarded... I just dont want this to happen to dumont like it did Glamis. I know its a fun event and i have a good time every time i go out for the night races but the aftermath is sh*tty..

As far as the lights go.. does anyone here do construction they could just happen to borrow one from the company.. :D

this was a big concern at the night drags a couple of weeks ago in glamis. they really got on everyone in the forums and according to the posts afterwards, it was really clean after this one. you will always have idiots who leave their trash afterwards, but you can't stop a fun event because of these guys. i will stay until the last person leaves to pick up trash if that is what it takes.

  3. Sounds good, Chuck. You know what my truck looks like right? Even though you won't be able to miss us. It's not like there will be that many people out there. :dunno:

    What will you be driving?

yeah i know what your truck looks like and i really doubt i will be able to miss one of the only other trucks out there.

my neighbor might be going too and if that happens we will probably be in my blue extended cab silverado, if not we will be in randy's silver crew cab colorado.

  4. I myself am just taking the Raptor. The car is too much for just a few hours. Besides, last time we wet the razors were so steep I'm not sure I woulda had that much fun in the car. :laughoff:

i guess i am going to have to throw my front brakes back on for this trip :D

  5. not that any one on here will likely be near this gas station, but in Hesperia, i found a goodspeed over the weekend where i bought VP110 for $5.20 a gallon. not to bad considering the price for 91. they also have sonoco for $5.02 a gallon.

  6. looks fast, whats done to the engine? nice bike..

if you go to Dumont be apart of the "NO MERCY RACE TEAM"..youll see us out there dune season..Guys helping eachother and drag racing for sure

thanks, i have it ported by kbr/mixxer, a hc wicked piston, full kicker, and pug. i rode it for the first time with everything done at the night drags last weekend and it ripped. i can't wait for dune season. only a few more months left. i am sure i will see you out there and we can hook up and do some racing.

  7. I grew up south of there in the Manhatten/Hermosa area.

I lived in that area for a couple of years too. awesome place compared to Venice. But Venice is definitely a place to go to get a few laughs.

    Nice pics.

  8. It looks real good chuck but i liked it with the plastics on,atleast the fronts. How do you like that pipe?Did it give you a migraine headache :beercheers:

i am still debating about the plastics. a part of me likes it without, but a bigger part of me likes it with the plastics. maybe next time people see it, it won't be naked.

that pipe is loud as hell. i feel sorry for the guys to the right of me. i have to mess with my jetting a bit and get it dialed in for that pipe, other than that i like the performance of it.

  9. I looked up Laegers, nice frames, but way too high for my blood. I found frames on ebay for $695.00, but no papers. Laegers is a manufacturer, so I think they have no problem getting their stuff registered.

If your going to get a new frame I heard that if you powdercoat it pink it adds 5hp. :laughoff:

  10. Sweet YFZ Chuck.

    I like the shaved fenders.

    Very clean.

    I'd like a Quad again.

I've always liked Yamaha. Because my Banshee and my Superjet.

A buddy is selling an 04' trx450r Honda tricked to the max for cheap.

    Is that a good Quad?

I've been out of the Quad loop for a while.

    R-

Like da_burgh said, any 450 is awesome. If you can get a good deal on a Honda go for it. I still prefer my Yamaha over the other 450s, but that is just me.
