Just thought I'd share some of the pics they sent me. Marble MD got out there yesterday. Lucky bastid. Conditions sound like they are pretty awesome. It's very smooth. Dry on top, but a little damp underneath the surface. Can't wait to get out there on Saturday and ride ride ride!

You can get a cheapo pipe off ebay that fits a crf50 or xr50 and slightly tweek it to work. That's what I did, but you get what you pay for. I read about this earlier today. It's a very sad and unfortunate ending. These guys went missing after going out at 2:30AM on Sunday in a side x side near Government Peak, CA. I have no idea why someone would go out at that hour unless alcohol was a factor. I'm not jumping to conclusions or even saying that's what happened, but it's kinda strange. Friends of mine in the CA area say that is a very dangerous area even in the daytime. It ends up they went off of a 400-500 ft cliff in a UTV. Hopefully they went quickly. So I'm ordering up new chain and sprockets for my hot rod and I see that the new design chain tensioner on dratv is $77. Am I the only one that thinks that is ridiculous? Are there any other alternatives?

A couple buddies and I are heading out this Saturday for the day. We'll all be on quads If anyone else wants to join us and run the dunes all day long. You're welcome to join in with whatever you dune. I know Rap_Rider has been wanting to hook up for a good dune tour. This is a good time if he or anyone else wants to go out and try and cover every square inch of Dumont in one day with us. I'm looking to get some good rides in and I'll be bringing my good camera and lens for some hopefully decent action shots. I'm planning on leaving Vegas probably around 7AM and will be staying out until 3 or 4ish. Should be a nice simple trip with some good sand. Pack a sammich, snacks, water, cold beer and just add SAND! Let's dune! YIAH Let me know and we can arrange to meet out there or at the gas station and caravan there.

Sorry I ended up riding single track all weekend somewhat close to town. How about a day trip this Saturday, Rap Rider? I might try and head out there fairly early Sat AM for a good day trip with Chadwick and his buddy. I'll probably stay until 4ish.

I was going to head out for the weekend but I never got the toys ready in time. I'm debating on a Sunday day trip, but I already have an all dayer dual sport ride to Pahrump planned for tomorrow so I'm not sure if I'm gonna feel up to it come Sunday AM. We'll see. Just wondering if anyone else is planning on going on. That may sway my decision. I would just be riding the Raptor. No sandrail this time.
