No Glamis did not raise their fees. Glamis also did not get a funding cut either like Dumont did. I believe the next TRT meeting is like Feb 5th or 12th. I'll see if I can find out for sure.

Man you guys will just keep going won't you? That money spent wasn't just for a guy to sit in or run a tractor. It is for things like the cost of the type 2 gravel and transportation of it to a desolate area in the desert. There were a few others things explained at the TRT meeting and the details of how the money was spent was gone over in detail by Lynnette. If you or anyone else had an issue with it, they had a time at the meeting for the public to speak up. By the way, the meeting was on a SATURDAY for those that can't make it on the Tuesday meetings. And to DP315, how can you say the road is "absolutely horrible"? In my opinion, as of New Years weekend it was the best it has ever been. Here's a pic from 12-23-07

When I talked to him he said maybe Wed night but probably Thurs morning for him. He just picked up his trans today and was bringing it to over to Jeff at Bad Medicine. He'll have the Bud Light Funco ready to go in no time. I should be there HOPEFULLY before dark on Friday. We'll see.

Thanks everyone. Keep em coming. You may need to downsize the pic if it is too large. That is usually the main reason why people have troubles with uploading pics. Most new camera settings are set to HUGE picture/file sizes and the forum will time-out if it is too large.

I'm thinking of buying a new camera soon. Yeah, it's almost time to retire the old azz original dune camera. Man it's been great camera especially for how much it's been abused in my pocket on dune rides, but it's starting to give me some trouble and doesn't take that good of pics anymore especially compared to some of the ones that members post up. I have looked at a few and kinda narrowed it down to this one we saw at Best Buy. It is also waterproof up to like 80 feet or something like that. That would work well for Anna as well since she scuba dives. I'm curious to see what kind of camera everyone has. More specifically I'd really like to know what kind of camera the following peeps have: wsky70, buggychick, 80grit, and Crowdog. Those are the few people I can think of off the top of my head that always take some really good pics. So please let me know if there is a camera you recommend. I don't want to spend a fortune, I just want a decent one.

That was a great trip report, Nick. I really wish I could have made it even more now. I haven't been on some good 2 wheeler rides like that in a while. Glad you had a good trip.

Oh Eric. Don't go gettin all sensitive on me now. Anna & I always enjoy your videos. No they don't always have the kinds of music we listen to but we thought the sword thing was funny as hell. Oh yeah...and I don't really give a damn if your bike is faster than my car. You are forgetting one thing- I'M A DUNER and I don't care about the hill. Let's go race through the dunes. All that matters is that it makes you feel better that you bike is faster though. ...and when did I ever say that was cool for a video? Wait, that does kinda sound like good times now that I think about it. You could make it fun to watch regardless. You do some badass editiing. Just don't put any swords or wierd sh*t in there and it will be just fine.

There is usually BLM staff there almost every weekend. Either way, you can buy your weekly pass from the BLM that weekend or from one of the vendors in town and tell them the dates you will be there and they will write those dates on your pass so it is good for that weekend you'll be pulling in.

That is actually the weekend I think we are gonna plan the Glamis trip. I just haven't discussed it with you guys (tres hermanos) yet. Terry and I talked about it the other night and finally set a date. I was hoping you guys could do that trip then.
