  1. Hardly still means that there was a remote chance you did want to.

Ok then - I DO NOT want to sit on another males lap or body part......

    -or-

Anyone’s as a matter of fact, except my chick - but I think I’m a little to fat for that......

So to clear it up completely, I hope - I’m not up for any sword fighting......

  2. I was planning on stopping by for a beer but?

No really I was but found out that the SIL and Son have their first softball game tonight at 8 so I want a few laughs on that one. Oh wait it's the Henderson Chev softball team and you guys are not going to support them? Shame shame!

Chris there is no "thing" with me, your weird and the night at the dunes I was tired and went to bed cause I didn't see anything positive coming from a guy who wanted to sit on my lap! :driver::drunk:

But just in case the women gets tired at the game I might still be able to make it over for a quiet one! :fro:

I hardly wanted to sit on your lap Terry - I was fuggin around with you. I am hardly a quire.... Come on now, what do you think I bring my chick for-to make me food when I am hungry? WTF

  3. He meant it when he said he was kidding. :no_no:

I understand that - I was just clarifying that I was not bent over this whole thing.....

Actually over all, this whole thing with Terry is a bit silly - But I guess I did start it......

  4. I was kidding dude

So are you going? :whacky101: :no_no:

Even though it sounded like I was bent, I really am not......

I may, I may not - I will have to check with my chick since we are minus the rat for a couple of weeks, I thought it may be cool for her to go out for once

    -but-

If it means that Terry wont go, and that he wants to, I will refrain from joining the party - no biggie

  5. He said I needed 2 or 4 years of pay stubs working in the exact area that I wanted a lic for and he just got his full lic to do everything and it took him 8 months and alot of money. True or false on the pay stubs?

2-4 Years of experiance in the nature of the business. About 3K for the fees, school, bond, insurance, etc

  6. It still may be recoverable. I know a guy who put his hard drive in the freezer (in a baggy) then plugged it in while cold...he had enough time to copy everything over to a portable drive.

On another note, if the data is important there are data recovery companies that can "attempt" to recover the data. It's usually not cheap though.

Eventhough he recovered the data after being in that enviroment, I would have to say that that is far from ideal - Taking a electronic piece from direct cold to warm will cause an instant build up of moisture/condinsation....

When most peoples drives "crash", they really dont have a major fault - but an issue with a couple of sectors within the boot/OS. Sectors go bad pretty regulary, but the OS just moves the data from the bad part, adds the section/sector to the drive cache and then the drive uses this information to not store any info to this sector number again. When condition is right, the new file moved to a new section does not get written fully and/or just cant be moved(Some stuff needs to be in one area only within the drive).

So the drive probally has about a 98% chance that the info can be transferred by everyday means....

  8. Looks like my hard drive crashed on my laptop. It sucks that I lost everything. :( So I think I am just going to replace it. I may still get a Mac, but who knows. Thanks for all of the input people!

    :thumb:

If it spins up, you probally did not lose anything.... 98% of the time a drive will spin up, even though it will not boot....

  9. Yea at Swains there is a bulletin board with a dozen or so contractors names to dig water lines and they are all too busy. I will check with the hardware store about renting one. I see a bunch of them parked on peoples lots but no one home. Even saw two on a lot in Strawberry and there were 2 S. Nevada Paving pickup trucks there. I even talked to a dirt guy up there about me buying a backhoe and having a business up there full time be he scared me with the getting a contractor lic info. But he did offer me a job running one of his!

He did exactly what he was trying to do - scare you - It does not take much of anything except a little time to get a license, especially if under 100K.

Fill out the intimidating, but basic application. Show a financial statement, just so they make the right decision and not give it to someone that is unstable. Take a test on management skills and trade. Get assigned a bond amount, and get the bond. Get general liability. Get workmans comp - yep you need it even if your a owner/operator for subcontract jobs. Go get the work.....
