the car was red o i forgot to mention the back end had a rail snapped but it can easily be welded back on its easily repairable...i was surprised not much more damage was done cuz it was a looonnnggg drop

we went out to comp hill wednesday night and we see this guy racing up its a good runnin buggy and we watch it go up a few times we watch him one more time before we leave he goes up and crosses the top of the hill and then there was no more sand we saw him try to save himself but it just flew off on the left side of where everyone races up into that little valley we thought they were ok and we decided to take that way back just to make sure of course their buggy was on its side after a long drop passenger had a cut on his head and the driver was ok front tires were bent underneath but the back seemed alright we pushed it over and tried to tow it with our buggy out but the front tire caught like an anchor in the sand and pretty much dug our buggy in there were guys up on the hill just watchin and we were callin them to try and help us pull the buggy out of its hole...but no...they wanted to be smart @$$es and make fun of us the front arms were ok so we decided to put the one good tire back on and some dude drove it down with 3 wheels back around comp usin only the turn breaks. they tried to get it onto a trailer but the tires were too wide and it fell off the side of the trailer. brand new car too...first trip out...but third buggy the guy owned i guess thats how it goes

back in the early to mid 90s everyone i talked to back then called it the 100 mile hour bowl of course there were only bout 20 people out there then and i never heard of superbowl until a few days ago and alot of the people i talk to today ask me if the 100 mile hour bowl is at dumont or glamis i dont know how long u guys have been goin there but ever since i started its always been 100 mile hour bowl but i guess it doesnt matter cuz its always there...its the principle not the name lol

yeah jeff fields transmissions is probably the best way to go for automatic i know the guy personally. he mainly does transmissions for the baja but he did some work on my dads and put a mendeola into a friend of mines extreme performance car. he has a website...just go to google and type in transaxle engineering hes located i think in chatsworth in the san fernando valley but like i said its probably the best choice for an automatic transmission

srry to say thats halloween if uve never been there thanksgiving then ur in for a surprise...this spot will have at least 20 camps parked there sure on an off weekend it would be easy to park there or anywhere but thanksgiving ud have to park like a mile off the dunes for no crowd.

theres always woops at the bottom of comp hill...the wind dont do much to those o and if any of u park next to a dune expecting to own it with caution tape...its not ur place...i take down any of that garbage and keep it for myself...dont block off the dunes and if u see any of it feel free to ride through it...i always come up to that and at night when im ridin through the dunes theres caution tape on both sides and i dont know where to get down.

it doesnt matter how fast it goes...you can have a v6 chevy stock and the only place youd get dusted is on the drag or comp its all the driver...if u can get the corners no one can keep up ive seen big time buggys out there with beefy motors...theyd be better off with a smaller one cuz they dont use the power and itd be less stuff to go wrong. nice buggy tho

since when did the 100 mile per hour bowl become the super bowl?? i know u cant get goin that fast anymore because its wiltering away but it should still have its traditional name. theres one other bowl thats like the same size on the south side of comp hill but its more bowled out...bulled or bowled however u say it...im guessin that ones not even noticeable cuz it hasnt been named yet.

well it was an off weekend so i guess he didnt really acknowledge it that sux. i guess its better with the growin crowd.

WOAH!!! since when?!?!?! we got a 9 mm we shot last year we set some cans up on the rocks a sheriff came by askin if we were gonna pick up the trash and then left i donno...i been goin there for a while and its alwasy been legal..or should i say tolerated considering its BLM property fire arms can only be fired a certain distance off public roads. maybe they changed the rules cuz of all the people floodin in from glamis and the crowd is gettin to be a problem.

scientists get money for doing studies on what isnt there hell...theyre probably sittin in a chair drinkin some cold ones and laughin cuz they know that the majority of adults dont know much about the earth and yeah ur right bout the rotation al gore did it for some attention , for money, and cause he is a major environmentalist trying to get more people to join his cause. watch out for hilary clinton too...shes even more hardcore than gore.

i must say that i agree that it is a scam...in order to understand global warming u must understand where the carbon monoxide comes from or CO2...most scientists dont know the operation of a car so determining wut causes the emissions is an important part. and to be honest with u....i havent felt a temperature difference... they base it on an average so one very hot day can raise the average and cause a misreading and the suns rays are supposed to be reflected off the emissions in the air and a high amount of emissions would be noticed with dark clouds...and i know uve seen clear skies. and the sun doesnt stop burning...it explodes and thats not expected to happen for manny many years...like millions...but that doesnt have anything to do with global warming the earth warms up....not cool down...it makes sense but theres not enough factors to make a conclusion

i agree with u bro all the way...get them to pick up their trash and i wanna see the dunes there for years to come as well...post pics of their camp when they left not of who they were no doubt they paid a fine and picked their trash up and i think thats enuf to learn a lesson....hopefully

apparently no one heard wut i said...ur garbage is bein thrown all over the roads...dont litter dumont dont litter waa waaa...guess wut...wind comes up and it gets blown right back into the dunes...yeah...pick up ur trash and what can be burned such as cardboard or paper its a tree only smaller....cans are a different story...they can be burned but some people are careless and throw em in for 5 minutes and douse the fire...recycle em...crv has gone up to 5 cents...get ur moneys worth... o and dont be proud about tattling on those guys...i think they learned their lesson and takin pictures of em and postin em for everyone to write garbage about isnt right... im not tryin to be mean or anything but ive seen some stupid stuff and if u want to exploit someone join the newspaper. and for those who say go to meetings...ive been goin to dumont longer than u think uve been runnin the place...just chill....i know u want to have a good time and if u want something to discuss...talk about getting the kelso dunes reopened. im sorry if ive offended any of u.

im sorry to intervene but burning trash is just like running your vehicle..it all goes into the air...burning wood is like burnin trash...it all goes to the same place just less chemicals...id have to say its better in a way...there are No trash cans to dump ur trash and i see trash bags all over the road into baker and pahrump...so basically wut we r sayin is load ur trash into ur truck and if it falls out who cares...its not on dumont....rates are being raised and i havent really seen much happening....sure a new road is nice but trash cans would work at the entrance...id rathers see it burned than all along the side of the roads.
