  1. It sounded like if the spring on the back door would have snapped and vibrated through the metal. I'm going to crawl under there again right now and look again . . .
  2. Hey toyhauler owners out there -- need some insight or spectulation. 32' Forest River Fifth Wheel Toyhauler. Well maintained. Water in tank, but no toys loaded. Jump out the side door and hear what sounds like a sprung spring sound - loud - under the floor. Look around, but don't see anything under there. Any speculations on where/what you would look at? Are there staps on top of the holding tanks that I might not see from underneath that could have snapped. Heading to D tomorrow and now I'm nervous. Any suggestions? Please . . .
  3. Sorry for your loss. We will look to the sky for your memorial at Dumont and pray that you find peace.
  4. Truck will pull it just fine! Gas mileage sucks but that is a gimme. Weight distribution hitch is the key. We had a pucker moment once and since just slowed down. 30 extra minutes getting there safe is nothing. . . Hooray for dune season!
  5. FOR SALE FMF BOOST BOTTLE - BANSHEE '87-06 BRAND NEW IN PACKAGE SOLD THE BANSHEE AND FOUND THIS PART WHEN CLEANING OUT THE CLOSET. LOCATED IN HENDERSON, NV -- YOU PICK UP. MAKE ME AN OFFER - CASH OR TRADE ME SOMETHING
  6. Just back from D -- love the new (to us) toy! Thanks Steve! Hope you enjoyed your new toy too!
  7. Nice weekend out there indeed . . . but we certainly could have used some Rangers, EMTs, something to back us up. Two of the guys in our camp were helping peeps everywhere. Good Karma to Rob and Trey! There was the Ranger rollover (head injury) and a guy who launched off a CRF 450 (collar bone +); someone with shattered ribs, plus a few tows back to camp. On the other side of the coin, I heard there was a wedding at comp. Congrats!
  8. Just in time for Christmas! 2007 Honda CRF 150F. Strong running 4 stroke. Nothing wrong, it is just too much bike for my daughter. Comes with sand and dirt tire. Call Kevin @ (702)378-6947. Just checked KBB and realized we were high, so . . . $2100 $1500 obo -- SOLD!.
  9. We checked and replaced this past weekend! Be safe
  10. Family's interests are changing a bit so we have the following for sale or TRADE. My daughter would like a dirt bike -- so something in 150cc-230cc range (4 stroke) (got the dirt bike ) would consider other trades for the ody or polaris. Asking price too high?? Make me a reasonable offer . . . 1986 Honda Odyssey FL 350. Some upgrades. Great fun on the dirt and at the dunes. Asking $2700 $2500 will entertain all serious offers. Super clean 2005 Banshee. Low hours. Adult ridden. This bike does not have engine mods, so it is still reliable and very fast! Asking $3400 $3000, will entertain all serious offers. Pink 2006 Polaris Trailerblazer 250. Great bike for daughter or wife. Fully automatic! Fun on the dirt and on the dune. Asking $2200$2000 will entertain all serious offers. We keep our stuff clean and maintained. We are not hurting for money, but are willing to consider fair offers and trades. Cash is good and we are also looking for a PWC now that summer is here (3 seater, Yamaha or SeaDoo) or dirt bike (400cc). Call or text Mark at (702) 575-0485. Thanks!
  11. Price? Are you interested in a 2005 Banshee -- no engine mods so it is still very reliable. Only changes are air box and pipes.
  12. In Henderson - The Diesel Doctor. Arne Morgensen. (702) 460-2536. Ford Trained & Certified, very reasonable prices. After correcting all the factory failures and warranty non-repairs done by the dealership, he went on to do all the upgrades on my 2004 F250. I now love my truck!
  13. Thanks for all the updates . . . please keep them coming. And for the record, I don't think anyone is "S" talking, at least I wasn't. I'm just trying to make sure I'm getting the most accurate information before our group heads out. Would hate to think that a group of duners changed their plans from Dumont to Glamis or decided to stay home just to find out some joker put 500' when it was really 5'. Every duner is anxious to get to the sand -- it's a very short season! Happy duning and be safe!
  14. IS THIS A REAL POST or are you just messin' with people? 500 feet!?!?
  15. "Selling because I need more room for my kids" . . . Do you keep them in the garage too? Just kidding, bump for nice looking sandrail. Good luck with sale.
  16. Any Odyssey FL350 owners out there? I need some advice . . . what is your air intake set up? We had stock, but this past trip drilled holes in the airbox to get in some more air. I think we need even more, but how are you keeping the sand out? Any insights are appreciated. Thanks!
  17. Has anyone transported their 4 stroke ATV on its rear end? We transport our 2 strokes, but wasn't sure if it's ok for the 4 strokes too (specifically a YFZ450). Thanks for any insights! See you at the dunes
  18. Have always gone to Dr. Dudley (702) 798-7171. Has always been great! He is in Henderson/Green Valley Area -- Green Valley Parkway and Ramrod. Good luck!
  19. Looks like great weather for Prez day weekend . . . Be safe, have fun :-)
  20. www.NOAA.gov -- is as accurate as it gets. Put in baker, ca and then pinpoint it to dumont on the map. :-)
  21. Well with dune season here, =D> we bought a 2006 Polaris 250 Trailerblazer for our daughter. Took it out last weekend to Dumont and it's a little weak in the dunes (hard pack and flats are fine.) Definately needs a mod and the only pipe I can find for it is a FMF Fatty. Has anyone done mods to their 250 to open this 2 stroke up? What jet would I need to use if I added the Fatty? Also, the manual says it has an "Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) which we should not attempt to modify" -- is the same as the TORS we weren't supposed to mod on a Banshee? We don't do usually do a lot of mods, want to keep 'em reliable, but we would like to see the bike do a little better. Any insights would be great -- I would hate to have to turn around and sell this bike in search of the 400 before Thanksgiving at Glamis! Thanks in advance.
