Just a big thanks to Barefoot Bob (the broker), Fasterdaddy ( the seller) and especially Capt Kllm and his wife(brought it home). Awesome deal with great people. A big thank you to Capt. and his wife and kids for bringing it to Vegas for me. Hung out BS'ing for about an hour while I picked up my camp rider/70 killer 200 ATC. You guys seem like great peeps and bringing the ATC down for me just reinforces what I feel about people in our sport ! Had our own meet and greet in your driveway and it was awesome. Hope to see you guys in the dunes soon ! Again, thank you ! ( I am not a politician but I approve this message) :angry2:

Ok. Chitty post. Got to the D on Thursday arrive about 9:30 pm. Looked for DDRstickers for a minute and decided to hang where we are and wait until morning to move closer to DDR peeps. Cocktails ensue ! Wake up Friday and survey the dunes. Beautiful ! Wind blown Face dunes ! Smooth as a babys Arse ! My girlfriend and I go to ride. Not even five minutes in I turn around because she is not behind me. I scoot back and she is Fugged up. She topped a hill and it ended in a witches eye situation but bigger, more like a cyclops eye. I get close and realize she is shaking. She totally endoed and got up close and personal with the handlebars. She had the imprint of a soft Tag Grip on her stomach ! Her left hand had total bruising, 3x normal size. Her right knee is purple. We rolled out without going to the meet and greet . Chit ! We left because she was in a bad way. Got home and had some cocktails. She is OK. That is all that matters. Damn it, I missed meeting peeps ! Dumont will be there, my people matter more than anything. For you peeps that did not get to go this weekend I think I have the most expensive trip ever! 5 minutes at $80.00 per minute. Chit! Ok, I am out. I have a few pics and I will post them tomorrow !

I never had logged onto any forums untill I saw an ad for DDR when I was browsing through Duneguide.com last year.

I have now added my self to a couple other sites and check them out every once in awhile when I'm bored.

There is no better site than DDR.com. This is my homepage and I check out just about every thread there is everyday.

The peeps here have fun and that is what it is all about. I have found no better entertainment on the web than what gets posted here.

It really feels like a close group of friends here rather than just a place where you can anonomously (sp?) speak your mind or write whatever you want and not worry about people knowing who you really are.

Look at how many showed up for the night drags this year. These are people we have only met through the keyboard yet we are willing to drive for up to 4 hours for some for one night of fun with more or less complete strangers. Awsome!

I love DDR because I dont have reliable friends who I can count on to drive for 3 hours to go camping and duning with me. I have been able to stroll up to complete strangers and ask if I can park and camp with them and I had one of the best times I've ever had with those people.

Dunefreak, ISBB and all of the Admins have worked thier azzes off to keep this great site running. DDR is not just a website but a community.

Tonight on "To Catch A Predator", DDR's own Richard Cheese busted. His excuse? " She's like six feet tall and adopts dogs out to people at a pet store! I was framed ! "

Picture doesn't show it well but the axle is a square tube below the spindle. A short piece of tube seen below the spindle connects it the axle. It's all welded together. I think I'll need the hub too and haven't had much luck searching for parts. It's a 88 DICO.

I see it. The spindle is in a round tube and that is welded to the actual axel. If you need welding on this I will hook you up !

Well had the wheel bearings repacked 2 months ago and this is what happened on my way back from Utah. Thank goodness the wheel fell off at slow speed and not coming down the 8% grade into Cedar City.

Now what do I do? The spindle looks bent and I don't think I'll be taking it back to guy that repacked the bearings. If it's bent does that mean a new axle? Seems whatever was left of the bearing rattled around in there for a while.

Looks a little like the axel is slid into the tubing for a weld of some sort. You may be able to get the end piece as most "solid" axels are only the spindles. I can weld you in a new one for the DDR price of $0.oo. let me know. You supply the spindle of course !

I know of the lil old one on sunset. Worked great w/ my old small trlr, but kindof scared to do it with the 5th wheel. They are $10 now? Used to be only 5.

Boulder and Sunset. Theres a little RV park there. 10 bucks to dump. They have a chitty little hose there so if you have a Sani wash you are best off to hook up your own hose. Hope this helps
