  9. steps in the right direction for a change.....sometimes it feels like one step forward, two back....but this is GOOD news!
  10. as far as speed ...same engine as the 4.. so good there the cage build leaves alot to be desired like some support for the A pillars...if you roll it end over end(otb) that cage is coming down on the driver and passenger for sure.... has long travel so your fine there(same as 4) def. small kids only...too me it DOES look a lil top heavy, when you do that in a rhino your down in the bed not up on top...seat is fine just needs harnesses...
  11. "IF" I sell it, Yes, I would be doing something new. Ive been thinking of a new project but to do it I would need to sale this rhino...but as you can see Im not tryin too hard....and Im not broke, so Im not giving it away either.....

  13. wtf...she had a passenger holding up the laptop...f*@k it nevermind
  14. my fault Neal..I meant did you take a normal shot with a normal(dslr) camera...I know a few guys experimenting with IR and theyll shoot the ir and a normal camera simultainously...sometimes all the work you put into setting up its nice to get your experiments and still get some "normal" photos...
  15. ya know I dont know if Im a fan of the IR...its very cool in a artsy way...but not sure I like it...did you take this pic in a "normal" mode also? if so I'd like to see what it came out like!
  16. my close friend was 2nd on scene to this ....on his way to the MDR night race....that he then witnessed in all of its tragicness....he is having a very hardtime with the amount of "sadness" he has seen in those two days....10 lives in 24 hours!
  17. first off guys there is lots of blame to go around for everyone.... yes it was a race but Brett Sloppy saw the crowd and should have lifted(utimately the driver is in control of the vehicle)specially when the truck right in front of him DID slow for the crowd.. MDR(promoter) knew b4 hand that the RockPile was a hot spot for fans and should have controlled it, its not 50 miles of desert its a known trouble area in ALL of their past events.... BLM is referring all blame back on the promoter(REALLY?) you guys wrote over 40 tickets in this exact same spot, same race, one year b4 and had no ranger presence there THIS year??? hmmmmmm def. not a good job of overseeing the event...as most people know young men dont obey very well unless you have a badge, gun and siren... SPECTATORS what are you thinking??? yes I know you consumed adult beverages but that doesnt give you the excuse to lose all common sense...you chose to stand next to a RACE vehicle going very fast in unpredictable terrain(its rumored that there were signs and fencing at the 75' mark but the crowd pushed forward and knocked them down)... the opportunity for many things to go wrong is not a maybe but a when...do you reach out and touch cars on the freeway or trains on railroad tracks?... NO...and thats smooth pavement/rails.... It all boils down to "personal responsibilty" and last but not least SHAME on the enviro. groups(CBD PEER and others) that are using this... A NON ENVIROMENTAL ISSUE... to further their own agendas...YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED of yourselves for so many reasons!
  18. In NV we already have more reg's..... when you go to a BITD/Snore race you are only allowed in spectator areas that are marked, the whole desert is off limits around the race....then the BLM heavily patrols the area and keeps everyone back the mandated 100-150' rule. Peeps hate it buuuut it works! In cali they do not(they will now) close the desert surrounding the race and you are allowed(like in the old mint days here) to go out into the desert to get to parts of the course that you like...this accident happened at one of those spots(the rockpile) which is a "jump" everyone knows about. NOT that I want anything closed but in this case it seems NV may have the right idea since we cant seem to "control" ourselves as fans....
  19. He also threw his own daughter outta the way ...HERO!
