  1. CARB is an out of control Govt entity, in which the people of the state of CA had no buy in. they run on taxpayer money, and treat us like sh*t. They are also attempting to implement a car pool law for every business that employs more than 40 people here in CA too that list reads like a whose-who of sand car manufacturers too. not good

  21. :beer_bang: So, im turning 40 this coming Wednesday :ah: Jimmy D and his Wife were wanting to take me out for dinnerlast night. We had plans to go to a kinda basque style restaurant to grub out. BUT....Jimmy wanted to stop by this place by our house, as he PERPORTED to know the bartender, and was braggin about how he was gonna get me. We walk in to the place, and there is nowhere to sit at the bar, so My wife said she sees a spot, and walks me over to the other side of the dining room, where i get the surprise of my life.... sitting over in the semi-private spot of the dining room were a :poop: load of my friends and family...about 40-50 of them. :hatdance: I find out that my wife had been planning this for about a month. I was so surprised, I was dumbfounded. I, for once, was speechless. To be able to spend a night in the company of good friends and family, at a major milestone in ones life was the best thing anyone could ask for, IMO it took me awhile to also notice that my wife had 40 oz of beer and table decorations. I thought they were their to drink. After staring at one for about a minute, it donned on me that hey, what a coincidence...im turning 40, and these are all 40 oz beers im such a dumbazz sometimes. Definitely a top ten moment in my life for sure. My wife kicks AZZ
  22. Im sure you all know that public schools have some sort of fund raiser every year. the biggest ones usually come in the form of a Carnival, win a goldfish, ring toss....typical stuff well, my school, being the trendsetter that it is, has been hosting a car show for the last 3 years. Every year for a day, i turn my hauler into a taco truck for a day. Last year, i sold over 70 lbs of meat out of my hauler, and sold out with 2 hours left to go in the show, so this year, the powers that be decided that 130 lbs was what was needed. I stayed after school on Friday and cooked 130 lbs of Carne Asada, cut 27 lbs of onions up, as well as cut 60 bunches of cilantro. here are some pics here is what i cookedthe meat in...130 lbs all at one time ...its like the size of a small coffin here are some of my fellow co workers setting up for the show this morning\ run of the mill school cafeteria kitchen, but using saves so much time over my kitchen at home here are some pics of the lowriders that were in the show these were just some of the cars i had a chance to take pics of before we got busy. there were over 100 entries this year anyway, just thought id share
