  1. Hahaha. It would be pointless yes, but why not, right? here's a sample of the potential: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uNgKdnWRZpU?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  2. So I found this, and couldn't pass it up. I'm drawing ideas now for a zippy lil "run to the vendors toy". My wife's been wanting a rhino or something, but when I saw this, I thought YIAH! It's a 2010 smart car knock off; brand is Kandi(prolly Chinese). It's currently an all electric vehicle, and missing a few things, but I'm thinking a hyabusa is in order. I've googled a couple smart car/hyabusa drift videos, and I'm thinking we need a sand version, just to stupidly say we can I'm composing some ideas, so feel free to make suggestions... I'm already considering trying to sell it. Thinking $1,500 as I don't REALLY need another project. We'll see what develops
  3. I'm not sure the government is going to enforce a surrender of these, but it sounds like you can get a full refund if you voluntarily give it back....of course not sure just how many people would do that? Can you imagine the loss Edge would take if everyone participated? Cali has random checkpoints checking for modified exhaust and such, which would be the only way big brother could enforce this, short of them taking edge's customer database and chasing peeps down...I dunno? Eitherway, it sucks. Edge was selling these as off road/race only kits, which was why it was legal; but now, EPA can come after them with penalties and mandatory recalls? Just plain wrong!
  4. Got this email this morning: Edge has been involved in litigation with the federal government regarding the manufacture and sale of Edge Racing branded products. The United States Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") has alleged that these products are illegal "defeat devices" that violate the Clean Air Act's prohibition against the installation of equipment on a motor vehicle that defeats or renders inoperative its emission controls. Under the terms of a Consent Decree lodged with the United States District Court for the District of Utah to settle the claims brought by EPA, Edge has agreed to cease the manufacture and sale of the devices. Edge has also agreed to recall and repurchase the devices that were previously sold. Please click here to download the official recall letter from Edge Products, LLC. Thanks, The Edge Products Team!
  5. ? We use the cat 0749 on all of our big cats; any chance those would spin on your adapter, or is the 0750 filter threaded differently. I'm thinking this would be a smart move for me, especially if I could only have to stock 1 filter size on my shelves.
  6. :saywha: All those JC Whitney accessories aren't cool? You forgot about the Brahma bull on the door Love the video! My roots are around tractor pulls; wish I could pull that sled around with one of your rigs!
  7. Goodyear makes a pretty good tire! Too far for me unfortunately, and they're cast in '09 too
  8. Yes, muffler gone too. She sounds like a freakin jet takin off when I stand on it One time I blew an inner cooler boot, and yes it was very oily, so the PCV reroute could definitely help! The turbo brake sounds awesome! I would definitely like that. I use the jakes in my rig all the time, And always towing something. So is that simply a different tuner that offers that turbo braking, Or is that your custom touch? I'm not sure which Edge evolution tuner I have, but it has 7 settings. I've only put it in 1&3, due to how often I tow. 3 is amazing! I can't imagine setting seven... I'm afraid I would drop the driveshaft I will try upping the tune/setting on my next tank of fuel. I appreciate the advice!!!
  9. Looks great! I wish I could say mine turned out that nice How about the performance side of it; did you see any significant gains?
  10. I got a similar ? I have an '09 LMM duramax that I've deleted the dpf and cat, for off road use only of course. Wide open 4" straight out, with an edge evolution tuner that I've got set as low as it goes. It's a dually, on 37" big rig tires. Feather footing it, I can only muster about 16mpg, but around town is closer to 12. I drive it like grandpa snail, and this is all I can get; and towing...8 or 9 Very frustrated when my Cat C-15, 80,000 pound rig can get 7mpg. I expected 20+, but bummed with results. Would an EGR block off plate do any good?Or Is this normal considering my tire size, or am I missing something?
  11. Yup, that's what it's all about! Great pics
  12. I got an email update on this story that I thought I would pass along: " Help Brayden Fight Cancer!!! $11,342 raised of $10,000 Update: Thank you supporters!! A huge “thank you” goes out to everyone who has helped raise funds for Brayden’s fight against Synovial Sarcoma Cancer! We have EXCEEDED the fundraising goal of $10,000.00!! Way to go!! This is more than the family could have ever imagined possible! Due to the outpouring of love and support for Brayden, we are going to leave the fundraiser open until June 15th. Please feel free to share the link. Now for an update…..Brayden is scheduled to have surgery on her foot July 9th at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. The surgery will be to remove the plantar nerve and the surrounding tissue with hopes of removing any cancer that might still be present. She will be in the hospital for 7 days and will then remain in TX for about 3-4 weeks for recovery, physical therapy and follow-up appointments. After the surgery, the doctors will know better whether or not radiation and/or chemo will be necessary. Once released from M.D. Anderson, she will return to Phoenix where she will continue with physical therapy for 3-4 months. Additional trips to TX will be required for follow-ups and MRI’s. Thank you again for all of your love and support! We will continue to send updates on Brayden’s progress. Please keep Brayden, her family, and her doctors in your thoughts and prayers. "
  13. Happy Memorial day DDR! I know this is a rough day for a lot of people. My kid sister in law lost her boyfriend several years ago now. She'll be visiting his grave today out in Riverside, as will a lot of friends and families. Just wanted everyone to take a moment and think about the meaning behind our "day off". Having vets in our family, and friends currently enlisted, I'd like to say Thank You for the sacrafices made, by soldiers and their families alike!

  17. Planning on taking the boat up to mead a few times for sure. Might tag along with some friends to the river. Wanting to check out some new spots with the boat, but paranoid after our last river run, tagging both SS props in a sand rock bar. Might just get started on a new kitchen I've been promising my wife for 10 years...
