  1. Damn this is an old post. It was a friend of mine's stuff. They did catch the thieves. He only got the car back but it was in pieces. He ended up rebuilding it as a bad a$$ 2-seater. He did all the fab work/chassis himself.

  2. I have been there once. The burgers are actually good. Fries kinda soggy. You dont have to get a triple, they do have a single too. I thought it was a cool gimmick for the theme. While there saw a couple people get on scale that broke the 400lb mark. Not something I think most would be proud of. LOL

So if you haven't checked it out, don't knock it til you at least try it. I feel bad for the guy that had a heart attack but he could have had it if he was eating a salad at some other restaurant. You don't hear about the others that have heart attacks while out eating, just this one cuz of the name of the place.

  3. The first time I met Al was when I went to the night drages and he came out there with some of his delicious food. He even gave us some extra he had left when he was getting ready to leave. Great guy that will surely be missed. I know he moved on to a better place and is no longer in pain. Take care good buddy, you will be missed.

  4. It was our first Regatta and for sure wont be the last. I had fun and I know my Bro-in-Law Charlie had a blast racing the stock class on the ATC70 we just got (thanks Joe!)

We will see you all again next year.

I too wish Al could have been there! He is a top notch dude and our prayers go to him and his family.

The dune rides we got in on Sunday were epic. Nice smooth dunes with some good lines for a fast paced quad ride. Finally packed up and pulled out around 6:30pm. Feeling sore today.

The Ford Gnomes struck again on the way home. Was cruising down the Tecopa road at about 23PSI of boost and the lower hose blows off my intercooler. Didn't see clamp so thought it fell out and/or got run over. Walked about a mile down the road in the dark with my flashlight looking for it. No luck. Just about gave up but decided to search again in the engine compartment and what do I fing hiding under the battery tray... the damn clamp. Put it back on with he-man strength so it wont pop off again and proceed to finish my trip home. Got home after dropping off the trailer at about 10:30pm. Was tired as hell, but would do it all over again for the good times we had this weekend.
