  1. We will officially be open on Friday morning but you can always stop by and grab them early. We will be there from Tuesday evening till Monday. We will have all our whips with us. When are you getting out there?

Wednesday or Thursday depending on last minute work schedules.

Friday morning will work fine though.

It's proper that you enjoy some time there too.

  2. Thanks Chris. Adam actually worked very hard on making sure it was done the way we wanted it. 5150 Wraps did a great job of getting the graphics right and getting it all installed.

Make sure to stop by and check it out in person and say hello.

Have you decided which day you will open?

I need a couple 6 foot whips. One green and the other?

Looks like the weather will be nice. And fuel prices are getting better.

  3. We are an Antigravity Battery Dealer.

They sell several different jump starters, Mike and I both have ones we have been testing with good results. They also sell batteries you can put into just about any vehicle. Their main batteries aren't good to be drained with stereo and stuff but they are coming out with a more deep cycle style battery. Batteries start in the $150 range. They weight only a couple pounds but you can start a RZR easy with them. I am planning of getting one for my Raptor also. The high compression it almost too much for the regular battery.

These things are super sweet and we hope to have something for Halloween on Vendor row. Either way we can get everything they make.

Also... we are working on getting an order in with superstrap.

The micro start started my kids Blazer with the battery not just low, but out of it completely. We were doing some work that required removing the battery.

    It defies logic!

The thing is tiny and has skinny wires yet started the Blazer like there was a fully charged battery in it.

(I also need a green 6' whip for my kids quad. See you on vendors row fri morn)

  4. I suggest not doing any night time Dune runs. Even the most experience duners will stay in camp at Night. Dumont is no Joke and can turn a night run into the last. Also by night time most Duners have had their share of the can of man. Just my opinion. Glamis and other riding areas dont compare to the steep dunes at Dumont. Know your limits

I haven't broke anything, but I sure get lost at night. Especially if there is no moon.

  5. I got this from the Snap On truck. It will jump start 10 V-8 motors on a charge. It will also charge usb stuff like your phone, mp3 player ect. I used the front of my Jeep for size perspective.Fits in the glove compartment. The jump starter itself is the size of a pack of cigarettes. It also has a bright flashlight that flashes SOS or on solid. On the side is a state of charge indicator.

Park too long with the stereo playing, no problem.

They also have lithium batteries for SXS's.

This saves me tons of fuel in the toyhauler tank. One gallon runs it over 8 hours. It will run everything in the hauler except the A/C

The Onan 5500 uses about a half gallon + per hour.

Quiet as a mouse too. My kids ride so much, fuel is always a concern.

587 hours and absolutely trouble free...

    Honda's are really good too.

What else can make camp life better?

  6. They need to ban tennis first. There were 87,000 injuries last year.

    Golfers reported 127,000 injuries.

    Ice hockey? 105,000

Horseback riding? 316,000 just last year. Clearly dangerous.

    Softball? a cool million injuries.

    Baseball, 763,000 injuries.

    Skateboarding? 676,000

We also need to ban bathing. Bath tubs and showers are incredibly dangerous.

After all these activities are banned, I see no reason why we can't discuss atv rules.

2007 KTM 300 XCW. I bought this bike brand new and have the title and full proof of ownership. (lots of bikes in Nevada seem to not have this...)

    Aftermarket parts on the bike...

GPR Steering Damper, Fasst Flexbars, Full hand guards, LED tail light, Slavens Next Level Fork valving and sprung for 230lb rider (www.slavensracing.com/ktm-2-stroke-suspension-services), Slavens Mule Port and Polish (www.slavensracing.com/services/ktm-2-stroke-services/ktm-2-stroke-engine-services), Synergy fork seals, Fork seal savers, fastway footpegs, engine ice coolant, converted to DC electrical to run halogen/HID/LED lighting, Enduro Engineering case/master cylinder saver, Ultra HD tubes front and rear, Twin Air filter, full skidplate on bottom of frame, fast bleeders on forks, Hinson Clutch plates and HD springs, O-ring chain, TM Designworks chain guide, Langston dual rate rear coil spring for 200+lb rider, Rear shock valved by Future Shoxs, Motorcycle Suspension Service Phoenix, Arizona, Synergy lower shock bushing, Lower shock bearing boot, Extended Rear Master Cylinder Reservoir, FMF Gnarly Pipe, Alum pipe guard, Radiator guards

Spare Loose Parts Included with bike:

Brand new renthal O-ring Chain, nicad battery for HID setup, Stock fork valving and pistons, upper chain slider, whip mount for the dunes, brand new rear wheel bearing set, stock clutch plates and springs, digital Odo/timer/speedo, stock bar clamps, tons of jets and needles to dial it in for any altitude and temps, various power valve springs to customize the power delivery from super smooth to massive hit, 2 brake light switches, throttle assembly, rear brake pads, front brake rotor, oil cap, gas cap, CS sprocket (quick gearing changes), bar mounted headlight switch/harness, 1 spare fork seal, fork seal driver, All Fluids (engine ice, 2 stroke oil, fork oil, trans oil, high end brake fluid), spare silencer, 1 side radiator, spare radiator shroud, paddle tire, spare front tube, halogen headlight/numberplate assembly, LED headlight/numberplate assembly.

Stand in pictures not included but will toss in a kick stand to raise and lower the bike.

This bike has seen it's use but it's also been very well maintained. Has never let me down or left me stranded. It will trail ride with the best thru the most technical stuff you can throw it's way and lug lower then the modern 4 strokes without stalling while still ripping your arms out if you crack the throttle open. Transmission oil was always changed every 3rd ride. Jetting was always done to keep it crisp, this bike doesn't seep oil residue out the tail pipe, in fact it's usually a nice chocolate brown residue around the pipe, It runs very crisp. Runs 91 octane, no special race gas needed even with engine work. Mule porting increased low end power for the really technical stuff and it's amazing on hill climbs. I've always ran Maxima Super M, it's what Slavens recommended and I trust him as a KTM expert/guru.

Asking $3250 OBO. Title in hand. If interested in a small bike sized enclosed trailer to accompany the bike we could talk a package deal possibly.

I love the bike and have ridden for 29 years now. It's just a chapter of my life that's over and the passion isn't there anymore as I've taken on other hobbies.

Hey Khris, hows the truck coming along?

    Chris

  8. While everyone is sleeping, I am out driving around for work. Around midnight the people who are out and about change.

At work I say after a certain time, It's mostly cops and criminals.

Along with alarms and cameras, which are a good idea, a well lit exterior also helps. Some people turn off light when they go to bed thinking they are saving energy.

Lights (especially newer efficient lights) don't use that much energy. Criminals hate bright lights.

Also a good old fashioned German Shepard can be a good deterrent as well.

I have security doors and Rolladen shutters on every door and window.

  9. Glad you all made it safe. When we took the rails out a month ago for the summer time DDR run I launched off a 8ft wall and it didn't feel very good. We were there at 5am and the shadows were really playing tricks on us. Night time duning is the worst, no matter how awesome of lights you have or how many there are always shadows.

I think were going out again Oct 5th for a early morning run or two.

I installed all those lights this summer and thought "hey now"

Got to Dumont, still scary at night.
