  1. You can thank the lazy a$$ BLM. They get paid all this money, overtime, etc., to do jacksh!t. That is one of the things they are suppose to do. They are to level all the 3 wheeler tracks but they are too worried about the guy who lost his flag and want to ticket him instead of things like this that can kill people and the prick who has a 2000 pound buggy doing 50-60 by people's camps. I wish the BLM would either do their job or get the hell out of Dumont like in the old days.

gee, i thought i was the only guy to complain about the blm and there priorities. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. it was a pic in that link I provided.....they don't do times...just who crosses the finish line first. Only instance where they would do times would be at a drag strip that is set up for times. That said, there were lots of radar guns out there and the top one reached 100mph...several in the 70's, 80's, and 90's for the top built cars. Some of the other recreational type cars were probably between 30 and 50, no one really put a radar on those.

    alrighty thanks

  3. For that reason im getting 2" in the back for sure. How do you like the 2" for you?

@@foolofsand, thanks man, the fact that you've ran both and would get 3" next time makes me lean that way.

well another thought. the kids actually have more protection from the 3". the 3" doesnt allow them to slide out as easy...ask my little grandkids... just my thoughts

  4. Good tip, and yes ill be getting the "sewn in" kind. I guess, with most things, they are personal preference. I've heard from some that the 3" are to bulky, they went from 3" to 2" and are happier. But also have heard the opposite. Guess ill just roll the dice.

Adam ill look into 50 caliber, thanks.

true a little more bulky but the pressure is spread out over more area so not digging into shoulders and upper chest as much. i have both the 2" and 3", sewn and not sewn on different cars. next time i will do the 3" sewn in when i have to buy

  5. well, looky, looky....plans 2, 3, 4 do not allow any open riding in the desert. only on existing trails and the blm will designate which trails are existing and they can close any off those trails upon a whim.

our freedom of riding thru the open desert will be lost forever once these plans go into effect

i would go to the meeting but i am leaving for a 4 day motorcycle ride at 7 am.

    hopefully someone can get there.

bundy is on the right track...govt trying to keep us home to watch tv.

thanks for the rant...just tired of getting pushed out of public lands.

  6. saying they will be closed is a wake up call to the off road community. i never trust the govt, blm etc. they take it all inch by inch and then walla...no riding anywhere...ask california, southern utah etc. since i have been riding for 60 yrs there are many many places i cannot ride any longer. its called protection...bs bs bs.

  7. Had whips since 2008, they not as good as before etc etc. They were replaced for a nominal charge and now have brand new ones.

Nice people to deal with and more than fair

So PROPS to a business person that treats his customers well.

  8. on the bottom of the page there is a little blue envelope that is used to forward this topic to a friend. when i do that, it wont go to my friend, it just goes into my spam as undeliverable. this is the only website that does that, that i use.
