toyhauler/ truck bed distance ?

Anyone here know what the minimum hight should be between your toyhauler 5th wheel and truck bed. Just for info i converted the 5th wheel into a goose neck. What im refering to is the hight between the truck bed and the overhang of the toyhauler. Im about 5 inches and seems a little close to the top of the bed rails, especially when i go down a steep dip...thanks for any info :laughing:

i havent taken a tape measure to it, but ive read that a good rule of thumb is having enough room to fit two fists between the bed rail and trailer. seems to be about 10 inches

Maybe this will help, but then again my bed is all fu!#ed up because of where I like to tow my trailer too... (Laughlin)

Just keep in ming that the tower and towee is best level with each other... (did that make sence?)
