Roads to Dumont from Tecopa & Pahrump

Has anyone traveled those roads towards Dumont to know if they are open or washed out like a rumor has them?

I'd hate to drive the long way in for Pres Day weekend.

I was planning to go thru Tecopa this time ( driving solo from vegas) and need to know what the road condition is for this weekend's Regetta. Please help!

I heard that they were washed out, just like I said in the topic starter comment. I just don't know if it's true. I can't imagine that Caltrans would allow those 2 roads to 'stay' washed out for long.

i looked them up online and see that it is an unreliable source of information, but thanks. it gave me an idea to check with NHPatrol

Update from just a couple hours ago. The 127 HWY is dry and traffic seems to be flowing from both directions.

Here is the river crossing at Dumont this afternoon.
