Z06CADY Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 We have not been to Dumont for a while and I noticed on the BLM web site a rule that all vehicles must have mufflers or spark arrestors. Is this new and enforced?? Last time we were there all were running open headers. Thanks................... Quote

dunefreak Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 The only time I have heard of people getting harassed is over at Banshee Hill. They're usually getting a talking to for something else though (lack of equipment like a flag or headlight, helmet, etc). It's kind of a secondary ticket if you get stopped and the ranger wants to be a jerk, but most of them are pretty cool now. Quote
