'07 Ford Mustang

If someone out there can PLEASE give me some insight, I think I am being :porn:

I took my car in on Saturday due my clutch being out on my '07 Mustang V6 5speed (17,850 miles). I was told that my clutch pad burned out. Funny thing is when I got off the freeway at Horizon and thought it smelled like someone's car was on fire (it was my clutch pad). Prior to the clutch going out, it engaged at about 1/4 or 1/2 way out. Now, it doesn't engage until it is almost all the way out, almost to where the clutch pops. We took it back to the dealer to have the clutch readjusted and the response from the dealer, like every other time is "it is normal function for the '07 hydraulic clutch for the mustang". We have test driven the '09 Mustang which is said to have the same clutch as mine and it does what mine used to do....engage at 1/4 - 1/2 out. As of today, they supossedly have done every test possible and everything has passed. They said they are going to hook the lines up to a vacuum like thing to try and get all the air out of the lines. I am sure they will come back and say "it is functioning like a normal mustang". :blah::blah::blah::blah:

I am at my wits end and don't know what else to do. I have had a few other run in with the dealer that just makes me want to :banghead: The under carriage has a creaking/popping sound too when you start going in first gear.

Anyone out there know anything or everything about the mustang? If so, please give me some insight or something else to take to the dealer to have them check on. I am afraid I have a lemon and they are avoiding any costly repairs. I have already told them that they are making have thoughts of running my car through their front door (can't or I will lose my job and go to jail). Please someone give me some suggestios.

Thanks!

I work at a dealer and I know that after the third time in the shop on the same complaint you can "Lemon Law" the car. You have to make sure that on the paperwork they have performed some repairs twords fixing the problem. If they say that that is a normal operation of the car there should be no reason that they are performing services to fix the problem. That is just them admitting that there is a problem and they are trying to fix it in the cheapest way possible. I have had three cars lemon lawed at my dealership and if they can do it for having three faulty thermostats, or issues with the car stalling because the a$$hat lets his gas run to low on $250,000.00 cars then i am sure you will have no problem finding a solution to this with a ford. :blah: Hope that helps :porn:

(thats why you should drive a Nissan) :blah::banghead:
