  1. The date has been set! Dec 12-14, 2014. It's the 2nd Annual Buggy Roundup. Last year's was so much fun, we have to do it again. Here are the reports and pics from last year's. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=19067 What's the Buggy Roundup? It's a weekend trip at Dumont where we get all buggy owners from DDR together in one camp. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other, go on some group buggy runs through the dunes, and have some fun. Although the main focus of this trip is a sandcar get-together, side x sides and riders are welcome to join in on the fun as well. Please RSVP so we know how big to make the circle and so we know who all is in! Post a pic of your car and/or setup too.

  2. This weekend was awesome! It was like the old days when Mike would come home on a Thursday or Friday night and say, lets head out to Dumont, last minute off weekend trip! Just us! Mike picked up a new to him sand rail on Thursday afternoon, so of course there was no way it was going to sit in the garage over the weekend!! It was also nice to be out there enjoying and playing in the sand and not busy busy busy working Vendor Row. The weather was perfect, well except the wind that rocked the hauler all night last night and was still grooming the dunes this morning. Shorts and Tee's during the day and sweatshirts and jackets next to the fire. The dunes definitely needed to be groomed, they were pretty tore up still. Camp was pretty empty, but several large groups out there tearing up some sand and having a blast. Some pics from the weekend... WTF?? :saywha: These guys were just walking around out there in their sparkly weird outfits... no camera crew... so not a movie, commercial or photo shoot! Pups enjoyed not being on lock down. Checking things out... New rail action shots... No dune trip is complete without a great view as the sun goes down... And of course a campfire! A campfire is a MUST! And to top off an awesome weekend playing in the sandbox... on my bucket list has been to capture via photograph a coyote in the wild... I love these guys and the sounds they make...

  3. If I would have known Mike was going to get a rail I would have waited for him to dial it in then bought it from him instead of starting my project lol ! Someone will be getting a good rail soon.

  4. Getting it a figured out before the buggy roundup is my goal. I have a long list of things I have to do and an even longer list of things I want to do.

  5. Cool shots. It's good to see Mike back behind the wheel of a buggy again. Hopefully it's all dialed in by the buggy roundup!
