I haven't seen that many people out there since like 2004!

Like every holiday weekend, there's good points and bad. I had a blast, but the every holiday weekend I go, the more I enjoy the off weekends. I didn't appreciate the insanely loud mariachi band music at all times of the day from every direction. The people who blasted that music that loud were really inconsiderate. I wish they'd be a little more respectful of others, especially crazy late at night and at 8AM!

When you look at the bad accidents and fatalities that have happened at Dumont, they are almost always very easily preventable. Usually it's just one simple mistake that was made like not wearing safety gear or making a very bad judgement call. With the season upon us, we could all use some safety tip refreshers so let's get a list going. Always have a spotter when jumping in areas where you don't have a clear, wide open view of your landing. This goes for everyone. Stay alert and stay alive this season, everyone! They may sound redundant, but these things should never be overlooked or forgotten about. I'll be making sure these are posted on our social media pages as well.

With all the newbies seen at halloween this year, it's time again to bump this post from cobweb land... Don't jump in someone's line passing them like your in an off road race... If you want to race and pass people, build your rig for that and take it to the track... Saying this for the a-hole in a white RZR pro 🖕who literally did that to our line... Thankfully we have radios and we were warning each other as he blindly came up on our right side passing and cutting us all off inches away. If I would have drifted right at all it would have been over... Take a different line, there's plenty out there!

I had the same issue at Sand Mtn this past week. The mariachi music and trash left behind with their glass bottles and fireworks was ridiculous. ( Sorry to derail)

These new duners are coming over from the valley since Pismo is closed. I've camped near them over there and the reason I dont go anymore. The theme is the same. Mariachi music till 3 am and leave their trash. And dont racist bash me, it is what it is, I've personally witnessed it.

I've been going to D since early 2000's but I've never been on Halloween and after this I probably will avoid the big holidays. The inexperience really showed and that Sunday morning exit sh*t show, WTF?. Had a good time regardless.
