Hey guys (ladies) I bought daughter a 1999 Yamaha Blaster which she loves. I notices it idles a little imho, but while she is riding it is perfect though. Is there a idle adjustment? I have looked every where and can't seem to find it.

Update: Found it, seat needs to be removed.

after reading the posts in this thread about who is faster in the dunes, all I have to say is........................

I have a child and a wife that depend on my income every day to do what we do. Can I go fast through the dunes? yes I can

does it ramp up the possibility of me getting hurt, or possibly dying ? by a huge percentage.

don't get me wrong, I like going fast and all, but I also have to enjoy my life OUTSIDE of the dunes too.

That happened to 5 houses in the eastern/horizon ridge area last weekend and two houses friday night in that same area. All between 1:30 - 3:30 am.

I know this cause a lady that I work with i happened to her Friday night she was real upset they took all of garage door opener and keys.

I keep mine in the cars but lock the door, the new doors have a latch to close to keep it locked. I do it on vacation too.

I take truck and trailer down to 15 psi. that is what my deflators are set at, anyway.

last time @ dumont, I had to air down to get out. got stuck pulling out

I had my 4x2 Suburban and it didn't get stuck. But, with the new 4x4 I bought, glad I got it. 15psi sounds good to me.

i wouldnt worry to much ron. theres alot of tranny shops out there that offer a inexpensive rebuild heres why,

they hire substandard employees that can disassemble and reassemble, but can not identify cause and effect.

also, they will rebiuld your tranny with used parts if theres a chip in the gear they will polish it and stick it back in, if they have an old set of clutches that are decent they will put them back in. sounds like lvnalolife is a victem. he saise his tranny was rattling before. which means nobody checked tolerances they through it back together. Your ford tranny should have upgrades in it. Ford did recognise the problem in 01 and upgraded unfortunately the kentucky rep saise you up the power, the tranny will go. some do, some dont total crap shoot . but once there done right there as good as ever.

P.S. the upgrade was actually in the 03s. however any remans that came from ford were ugraded, as i said once before, i lost my tranny @ 30,000 in my excursion i threw a sh*t fit and i wrote a bad report to ford on the questionair they send out ( i bought it new) i was called by the engineering rep in kentucky .thats where i got this info. for what its worth..........

If that predator beat a honda 450 somethin was wrong with the honda , my buddy has a predator and my trx and my buddys yfz eat it for lucnh all day long ..........So im guessin it was that predators lucky day

Both were running fine. They even swithced riders as stated. A quad and a half isn't lucky.
