  1. You seem to be a YAMAHA guy...why the Ranger??? (size is awesome tho) I'm no expert ref the hot fuel however I heard that the race fuel (100) will add extreme wear / tear to the internals.....once again, I'm no expert....
  2. ..take it easy on the CAPT..... I get smoked by 4 or 5 lengths up comp on my DS and still talk :rant_on:
  3. Fool me once, shame on you....... Fool me twice, shame on me.... That's ......go over to his house and knock on the door....they'll love that
  4. I liked vendor's row exactly where it was at. That mini-mall was just as much a part of the landscaping as the dunes were!!! Change =
  5. How much to outfit the hauler??? (6)
  6. Then I will have to post "BOX TRAILER SECURITY.....SUGGESTIONS"
  7. $35.00 ...Thats def worth a shot.....hell, Ill do it just for the novelty of starting it remotely Air-down the tires SWEET!! never thot of that
  8. ...(I have heard that the XD is rather unforgiving with regards to "limp wristing" shots, as well as malfunctions.....the GLOCK 21 (.45 ACP) is exceptional and has been a proven war horse... ) No offense intended towards Springfield owners.. Good tips ref security....kill switch seems to be a good plan......has NE1 heard of sum kind of ATV audible alarm that would meet this purpose???
  9. With the purchase of a rhino in my sights, has any1 purchased out of state to avoid sales tax? If so, was it worth it? Can you recommend a dealer? Thanks All
  10. With the understanding that POS scumbag thieves can not be stopped only hindered, is there any tips for securing my rhino in camp that may assist w/ seeing my beast when I wake up in the morning? Aside from the standard cable, is there any supplemental security (save the 2nd ammendment) that I can apply ???! THNX ALL
  11. The state of NV has allowed specialized groups to create / submit custom license plate designs for the specific purpose of supporting the target group. That being said, the only "catch" is that the funds must "benefit education, public safety, or general welfare." OFF ROAD PLATES!! If "rodeos" and "air race" clubs qualify for this benefit....why can't the off road community??! The money's use can easily be articulated for the maint. of NV's off road areas (i.e Armargosa, Sand Mountain, ect...) As long as the submitting club posts a $5000 bond (unk if refundable) and maintains a re-registration rate of at least 1000 plates per calendar year, your good to go. (pending a "plate committee's" approval) Can anyone else picture a license plate with a rail or quad floating over a dune???!!!! I can The possibilities on this are endless.... Any thoughts? P.S. regrettably, DUMONT isn't in NV..that would have been a cool plate
  12. I heard of the medical support landing pad but I was referring to strictly "airborne cops"..... With the presence of a chopper patrolling the skies, people prone to TOMFOOLERY , SHANNANIGANS, or BOOBERY would be less likely to perpetrate their nonsense (works for the "out-of-bounds" peeps as well) (if NE1 says anything about "big brother", )
  13. THNX for the info all......Ill definitely buy the carb cleaner and do it my self next time!!! OCTOBER IS IMMINENT!!!!!!!!!!
  14. ...all the quick fixes didnt work.....apparently, its pretty bad.....Ill put a valve on it and run it dry....so much for putting the stabil in!!! THNX A::
  15. Having recently been the victim of a plugged carb, a local RV dealership (Cal's) wants to charge me $364.00 for a new carb, and labor. Is that the norm or should I look elsewhere?????? If somebody says thats par, Im gonna Anyone have a good fix it place or am I gonna have to suck it up?
  16. More cops / enforcement of the laws on the books is the key. A fence = an exercise in futility. Maybe I'm a simpleton, however, how about taking some (it wouldnt take much mind you) of that 500k and using it for air support and helicopter spotters on major weekends? Observe the violators in the sky and call in the calvary....enforce the laws and issue a steep fine........I used to speed all the time on the freeway until I got caught!
  17. ...a Hollywood mantra that has been quoted before reference the Marine Corps is appropriate given the career of a police officer, and subsequently, applies to all the cop haters in da forum; "I DON'T HAVE THE TIME OR THE INCLINATION TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO SOMEONE WHO SLEEPS UNDER THE VERY BLANKET OF FREEDOM I PROVIDE, AND THEN QUESTION THE MANNER IN WHICH I PROVIDE IT. I'D JUST PREFER YOU'D SAY THANK YOU." - COL. NATHAN JESOP
  18. Stripper pole at DUMONT? PATHETIC. Take your adolescent behavior to GLAMIS. I can offer you this guarantee: I will personally do everything in my power to ensure DUMONT remains a place for the family. Your absolutely right! Let's give the liberal tree-huggers more ammo to shut us down! I can just see some of those pics on the floor of the senate when BOXER lobbies for closure. The argument has always been that the dunes constitute public lands for use by all ages. I'll draw your attention to (2) two seperate California penal codes: 407:Whenever two or more persons assemble together to do an unlawful act, or do a lawful act in a violent, boisterous, or tumultuous manner, such assembly is an unlawful assembly. 314: Every person who willfully and lewdly, either: 1. Exposes his person, or the private parts thereof, in any public place, or in any place where there are present other persons to be offended or annoyed thereby; or, 2. Procures, counsels, or assists any person so to expose himself or take part in any model artist exhibition, or to make any other exhibition of himself to public view, or the view of any number of persons, such as is offensive to decency, or isadapted to excite to vicious or lewd thoughts or acts,is guilty of a misdemeanor. If I'm out there and I see that lunacy, game on. I wont bother with the rangers....Ill locate SB Sheriffs Dept to prosecute. Get whatever permit you want.....
  19. ....apparently, we are all of the same mindset...... MMMMMMMMUUUUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  20. With the rapidly approaching miracle known as "President's Day", I find myself in somewhat of a quagmire. My family's circle-camp consists of (traditionally) permanent parking spots for the family's various haulers. That being said, my friends who accompany me, always seem to get table scraps when it comes to the primo in-circle camping spots, when other family friends take choice priority. Enter the dilemma. Not only do I have my own trailer now, but my friends and I will be arriving a couple of days ahead of the 30+ family mob, and are required to reserve the entire circle for the inbound haulers. I am of the opinion that "I arrived 1st, and can pick whichever spot I choose." I don't want to make waves however I don't care for the inevidable spot my family has pre-determined for me either. Has anyone experienced a similar epic? What say you? Conform, or rebel?
  21. ..I definately wont be storing it w/ water n the future!!...just bought it and forgot they sold it to me w/ water tanks full......appears everything fine now.......ran furnace for an hour and flows like a champ ///////////// Hey KITKAT, we have (pretty much) the same trailer....is that small outlet hose underneath the left wheel well the only fresh tank purge????
