    Not sure how much a gallon of water weights or even gas but it took me about three or four trips to Dumont from Vegas before I realized I could fill up my trailer when I got there in Baker. What a difference towing!! So if you are going somewhere you are familiar with fill your fresh water tank and/or gas tank up when you get there. Same thing when leaving.... DUMP!! (not in the dunes)

    It is a learning experience... I have a 40K traveling porta poty that I spend most of the time repairing or upgrading. Talk to all of your friends before signing on the dotted line. If I had to do it again I would buy used, it will save you money and hopefully the previous owner made all the unforseen repairs/upgrades. (Don't buy at Wheelers RV in Vegas)

    I'm usually wasting money at a gas station in Henderson that sells wood but when I have time I go to Rancho and Lone Mountain behind the Santa Fe casino. Lots of wood good prices and they load it! $60.00 filled the back of my buddies pick up

    I have lots of kids that we bring down on big weekends thats why we park in the gully so they don't get run over. We used to park at te finger dunes but after all the close calls and tickets from the rangers we left the crazyness for better camping.
