  1. Bound4Dirt: Thanks for the heads up on both points. I make sure to check them over at least once a week. I'll take a look at the carb on the 50 and see where I need to go from there.
  2. I've got the 50 for my little girl. Aside from being one seriously cold blooded bastige it's a good runnin' quad. Also have the 150 to use as a toolin' around quad, it does good. Definitely not bad for the price.
  3. dinicolada, I agree with you on that. I figure if people can see my rig they can go around it and when I stop I make sure that I'm walking ahead of the truck and not back where I came from. I'm game for a clean up trip down the road, as long as I'm not working - on call stinks!
  4. If you see a bag of trash stop and pick it up. Plain and simple. Yes it takes about 10 min of your life to do this, but guess what, if everyone did that there would be no issue. I've done it everytime I've driven 127, which is quite a bit considering I live in Pahrump and have family in LA. As for the black tanks being dumped, that's just plain disgusting. If you aren't going to be responsible about that then you don't need to be alive, IMO.
  5. I had friends come up on Sunday and they were not given anything, nor was I when I stopped and bought my annual pass.
  6. It'll need at a minimum the rail will need: Windshield Wipers Turn signals High and low beams Rear view mirrors - inside and drivers side Horn Side panels Solid floor board Muffler to meed sound level requirements for exhaust I'm not sure on the bumper issue
  7. It is possible, and not too hard. I've actually seen 3 rails driving around in Vegas. They come under the 'Kit Car' category. Clark County is harder to get it done in due to the smog regulations but Nye will be easier, not to mention the staff at the DMV in Pahrump is much nicer to deal with than some of the people in Vegas.

    VW Turbo

CarCraft, they have everything you would need to turbo a VW. They'll ship the stuff out to you and provide plenty of phone support to help get it dialed in. Their number: 951-781-4480 I do not know of anyone doing this out here in Vegas, but I'm sure you can get some help dialing it in and fine tuning it over a long weekend.
