  1. I've never dumped gray but you should see the looks I get from folks when I dump my fresh water....people look at me like I'm a criminal.
  2. It was great meeting you Nicole. I was expecting you guys over at camp Saturday night but I guess you guys didn't find our camp after all. Raptors > *
  3. Groceries = $100 Alcohol = $200 ~2.5 tanks for F250 (diesel) = $300 ~20 gallons for toy hauler = $75 Pass = $40 Wife spending on vendor row = $100 Sounds like I need to be dunefreak's friend....Hahahahaha
  4. Great trip! Had the DJ system firing until 2am every night! On Saturday night, the Sheriffs and Rangers came over and hung out at our camp for a while. Turns out my buddy knows them all...Sheriffs, Rangers, etc. It was a great time with great friends!
  5. While I agree 100%, that won't necessarily prevent a careless person from crossing the path of a rail.
  6. They guy that was videotaping didn't say who he was or he was with...as a matter of fact, he didn't answer any questions. I did see that same guy (who someone who was wearing the exact same clothing) in the Sheriff chopper as it flew over and filmed Comp a few times. I don't think he taped the accident. He arrived after the fact and taped the BLM and Sheriff at the scene and all the way through until Charilie was taken out of the dunes area.
  7. Yeah, no kidding. That was just so f*cking wrong. Heartless, no-class bastards!
  8. How the f*ck didn't anyone get info on the driver? I saw two Sheriffs talking to the driver of the rail and you mean to tell me they didn't get any info from the guy?! There was also a 3rd party video recording EVERYTHING!
  9. I don't know who the guy on the rail was but I can tell you that three of us were sitting on our quads at the bottom of the hill (getting ready to ride up) when we saw the accident happen. That sandrail was very loud; how the guy on the quad didn't see it is beyond me. Unless one party was drinking and driving, it is very hard to put blame on either party, but that's just my opinion. I always slow down and ride across the top before making my way down...always looking out for rails, trucks, etc. that may pose a threat. On a side note, watching the BLM try to make their way up the hill was a joke. I told my buddies that if anything like that should ever happen to me, offer the closest rail $1000 to drive directly over to the BLM/Sherrif station and bring back paramedics!
  10. I'm considering backing out and heading out to Glamis. I just don't think the wind will make it a fun trip for my son.
  11. Hahahahha...I wouldn't have a wife if didn't... A lifesize popup of Crusty....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH...that's the best idea ever! :angry2:
  12. You bringing your kids? If I end up going to Dumont, being a n00b to the Dumont scene, do you mind if we camp with you guys?
  13. I previously committed to going out to Glamis. At this point, it sounds like my buddy and his wife won't be going out. If they flake, my boy and I will be headed to Dumont at 2:30pm sharp on Friday and will be staying through Monday. Anyone else staying through Monday? :mc_smiley:
  14. Heh, the new dirtwheels shows a monster lifted Rhino with Suzuki Samuri motor and tranny....it could have probably made it across.
  15. Are you guys taking the kids with you....
  16. The DJ speakers are always a hit...during one of our trips last year, we had over 100 peeps dancing the night away in our camp. :Danielle:
  17. I may just make this trip. You guys hip-hop/rap fans? If so, I'll take out my DJ speaker system with 30gigs of music + Sirius radio to party! Let me know!
  18. Yep! They're more like this... ...after they realize they've been caught.
