We deep fry ours. It gets injected with some creole butter marinade and rubbed with some spices then dropped in hot oil for about 20 minutes. And you can re-use the oil the next day for some deep fried burritos or anything else you wanna clog your arteries with. Make sure you have a funnel to pour the oil back into the bottle with after its cooled enough.

And he REALLY likes the badger song. You'll hear that one for a while I'm sure. We had to hear "Ding! Your fries are done!" constantly for about a friggin year. Damn you tube.

our two dogs love to go to the dunes. however, walking around too much, they get sand between their toes, and it irritates the skin, causing it to bleed.
I am currently looking for booties for the dogs that are made of neoprene, but have had no luck
I just seen dog booties at Walmart yesterday when I went for supplies for the puppy that we got from jacxclan on Sunday night after pizza. Not sure what they were made from but they had a ton of them all different sizes.

We did notice also, and not to mention Mark & family ordered chicken w/wedges and they got fish instead and it's not even on the menu. hehe at least we think it was fish. Maybe it's back to Pizzaville next time or somewhere new. By the way Jason, your little boy is too cute.

Some would say i had it coming to me.
I cannot remember if i locked my doors or not on my truck last night.
anyway, i walk out this morning to go to work, and my center console was flipped up, my ashtray was flipped down, and things just didnt look right.
i enter my truck to investigate, and notice that my tire deflators, 80 bucks, were gone out of my center console, along with my black fly sunglasses (about 100 bucks), and the ashtry insert with about 10 bucks in change gone.... OOOOH I WAS BURNT.
BUT then start to think about my wallet Dammit.....after searching feverishly for a few minutes, i find it on my dresser...THANK GOD, CAUSE i have been known to leave it in the truck overnight.
I go back out to my truck and start taking inventory, and I start laughing......they must have been rookies because on the back seat, in the middle, in plain view, is a CD case with over 100 cd's...also still in my truck.....
diesel programmer underneath the back seat
tools underneath the back seat
tow strap and tie downs underneath the back seat
stereo equipment (amp, woofers , mids tweets)
sons DVD's
miscellaneous items (umbrella, gloves cetane booster, etc)
I am now considering myself lucky, and will faithfully check my truck every night before I go to bed.
Maybe it was the same group of teenagers that TP'd your neighbors before.

Damn it! I kept getting 5000, I finally had to get out the calculator and then I thought "DUH"! That had me.
-
OK thanks, see you then.

So is this going to be at Sharkeys/Cataldos for sure and not Pizzaville?
-
OMG and to think I was feeling bad for you, but at least it will cost you less to replace the chain & sprocket than replacing the wife.

Sounds good

About 2 yrs ago our house got TP'd with about 30 rolls of toilet paper, they stuck plastic knives & forks in the lawn an wrapped plastic wrap around the car. We didn't think too much of it other than we couldn't believe we didn't hear them and the dog didn't bark. The only thing that pissed us off is they also left thier bag from the purchase of TP and supplies along with the receipt. We made our teenage son get up and help clean up since we figured it was probably done by someone he knows anyway.

We check weather.com but it's still a shot in the dark sometimes. An being that Dumont isn't listed we have to check Baker or Shoshone.

So sorry to hear of this, what a tragedy. Prayers sent.

We haven't been to any of these places yet but hope to someday. Heck were taking our first trip to Gorman next weekend. We haven't been much for trail riding til now.
-
Ahh sorry your trip didn't work out. You were being such a good husband by going to a concert with your wife that you wouldn't normally go to for yourself and it got cancelled.
-
that's true. :fro_smokin: We'll just have to make sure someone always stays with the truck and watch behind us to make sure no one is following us home. In fact the last time we went some guy comes up out of no where and asks us if we've seen his dog...uhhh nooo. We're the only ones out there and it's cold as hell and he goes out of his way to come off the main road and drive back in the hills where we were at to ask about a dog. Nathan immediately got the gun (we always take with us) just in case the guy came back. Friggin crack heads

That's is what we had been told too, stay away from that area. So I wasn't sure which side of Niles Raptor661 is riding on. We always see people on the east side but I don't want to chance going out there and end up with a ticket. We've never had any trouble in Taft so we'll probably just continue going out there.
-
LAST i heard, they were ticketing people for riding out there....that was a few months ago tho
You heard they were ticketing people at the old Mesa Marin area or Taft? I hadn't heard of any ticketing at Taft but you never know. We had heard not to go to Mesa Marin area due to tickets . But we have family out by there and every time we drive by there seems to be someone out there riding. And also right across the street going out into the hills/oil field area.

Well I forgot all about this! lol. well maybe i can make the next one, I told the wife I wanted her and the kid to go but sunday I went out riding out by the old mesa merin and by the time afternoon came I was already 10+ beers down lol. I had a good time riding, got to put some 450 guys in there place with a raptor. The best part was this guy telling me "you cant make a raptor fast" then I beat him 6 out of 6 times on the drags. I love it. I was supposed to have some videos but the camera operator did everything backward, he stoped the video at the start and restarted it at the end. After that no one wanted to play anymore =(
Where are you riding out by Mesa Marin? Since they closed it and leveled the ground we started just going out to Taft for day trips but if there is still somewhere to ride out there that would be closer than Taft.

Glad you guys had a good time. Sorry we couldnt make it.
btw, Limp Bizkit and Korn are both from the Bakersfiled area.
Sorry you guys didn't make tonight. Maybe next time.
I know Korn is from Bakersfield but as far as Limp Bizkit I thought Fred Durst was from Florida.

Are Visalian's welcome?
Hey Cheese, educate these folks on some Oildale trivia: Name the famous Rock/Rap band that came from Oildale. and the band that helped them get there start, also from Bakersfield.
Sure your welcome, it's not restricted to just Bako.
And as far as the famous bands, I know one is Korn and the other I'm not sure of. Maybe Adema. And then there is always Buck Owens.

Very cool pics, makes me wanna go again. We go every year to visit the aquarium and go sight seeing. Next time you go try to visit Pacifc Grove, it's down the road, there is a place called Lover Lane and they also have some really neat tide pools where you can see all kinds of sea creatures hiding. And then there is the 17 Mile Drive that goes through Pebble Beach Golf Course, it's very cool. One of the times I went there I stayed at the Anne Of Green Gables Bed & Breakfast and that was neat. Glad you had fun, it's really beautiful there.
