I posted in the other thread that vegasstyle and I are heading out to D on Sat. I hope more peeps come out but its not looking like it. it should be nice weather. I for one am looking forward to it. This has been a bad day, and i could use some sand time. :worthless_without_pics:

I don't know what he was thinking. Flew off that dune like he was some MX racer we had to pull his foot out of the mangeled mess of a heal guard, that's when we noticed the big a$$ break getting wooosey. LoL DoonCoon and I duned the 1500HD back to get him. Iv'e never taken my truck so far into the dunes BFG'S are the way to go. Steve is one tough cookie! he didn't not one time. unlike kurtis who was the biggest P*$$y ever to wreck a shee. Steve did great, 2 hours, 2.5 hours to get home and he joked like nothing was wrong. 1 bad day out of 100. thats still good odds. just never pick up a bag when rolling, or without thinking first. I think thay did it as a crule joke. why else would it be there? i'm just glad i didn't get arrested for takeing some rare desert plant, or something. Steves bike is soooo nice.

Hi DDR peeps ! Let me about the worst day trip ever. Nothing went right. I had taken my bike in that week for some service and to add a tooth in the rear, just got it back the night before, took off at 7am w/ Adam. We get there and go for a ride waiting on Vegas to get there. Just after Vegas shows up and before we go for a ride this guy :ban-cha: was pulling out in a 26’ racer trailer with artic cat and M&P Racing on the side of it, or something real close to that on the side of it, we didn’t get the plates. Well he left behind some 4x4 stolen road signs and a 50gal trash bag. I'm P'ed off. :angry22: we spend all that time cleaning up the week before and this guys here and My bike is cutting out in the bumps and down the hills. Any shift in the bikes attitude or weight, shuts it down. NO motor at all. So We all go for a ride, blow off the stupid pig and my bike cuts out at the most inopportune time that I almost ditch it at least three times, and I can’t take it any more. We go back and I start tearing the bike apart, all the plastics off checking the fuel lines and wiring, nothing looks wrong. A little bare wiring on one connector but that’s it. An hour and a half later it’s all back together. But it still sucks! So now I’m $300 in on the parts and unnecessary service, (the bike ran great when I took it in) $100 in fuel, and my time is worth more than most people would expect, and my day is shot! I’m thinking this as I test ride my bike after putting it together. I turn around hell bent on going home but first let me pick up around the camp, as I do every time I head out, I’ll grab that bag O trash as I go next to it like John Wayne, STUPID I know. YES :swords: DON'T :ban-cha: it's not nice End of Day: After pulling 100000 needles from the finger tips, thanks for the help Steve!, I picked up the little trap that some pore kid could have picked up and took it back to the trash in tacopa. :fro: and hurting i drove the drive of shame and stupidity. I just wanted to say THANK YOU all for being so nice to my newb duneing family. :dance: We had a great time. I’m not a big tree hugger, but I’ve been riding all my life and I hate trash, it's such . I'm so glad to hear it steve! I hope NO wasn't too bad to you. Look for My truck, and a CA rental RV. I haven't made plans to camp with anyone else, but trying for the same area as always.

I remember w/you. I'm going to finnish that ride on friday. This is the wifeys and the kids first time to dumont. Vegas Style is working, and not going to come out untill Sat if he makes it at all, so we'll be looking for friendly faces.

My wife and I are willing to help i'll have my 4x4, and she could help log in or man the fort, whatever is needed. we are going to get there on Thursday around 3pm, I hope we can get togeather for TT around 7pm that night.

Hi Peeps, I just got the final OK from the boss and the whole family is in!!!! I’m so excited. :dance: This is my wife and kids first time to Dumont, and I’m under the gun to make it fun. A friend of Vegas Style and me is camping with us, and we have laid out a plan to lay the smack down on Randy, (our homie) to get his Rhino for the girls, and kids. I rented a trailer so the family can get out of the dirt. Turned down work to have the days off. Food Water BEEEEERERRRRRR……. Gas First aid kit Puke bags Okay I think I’m set. Is it Wednesday yet.?

Sorry we missed you guys. Steve and I had big fun. The wind blows, but it was great riding anyhow. At one point the wind was blowing so hard that Steve’s new Ninja-Sickle was blowing to the right with the sand, and there was no footprint at all I wish we would have brought a camera. i need a pic of steve crashing. it was soooo... funny. Slowmoe, dieing cockroach. I wish i could crash that soft. Thanks again for going Steve, i needed a day at the beach.
