Since you can only run 100 watts,if you want to you could run 3 HIDs. That would be 5 watts over but I think it could handle it.

The one pair of Eagle Eyes will definitely put out more light than the four Laser Stars. The HIDs only use 35 watts each. You can also PM Originalpimp. He has a good connection for HIDs.

Don't bother with the Laser Stars. Get some HIDs. Dunefreak has some decent ones on his car that aren't very expensive but they put out alot of light. Ask him what he has. If you're night riding HIDs are the only way to fly and they only use 35 watts.

I was looking at those cars at first but I'm a fat guy and if I remember right they were only like 48" wide but I might be wrong.

So after options you'd be right around 45K? How wide is the car where the seats are? I remember those cars were kinds narrow is what I should have said earlier. There was one at the extreme sand expo last year that had a big blower on it. It was really cool.

Those are nice cars but when I looked at them they were kinda small. Do you have any spec on the cars?

I'm planning on camping with the DDR crew at this point. Are we thinking about a pot luck thing again? I'm planning at this point to go out Wednesday night and probably go home late Saturday afternoon or early Sunday morning. Should I pick a spot somewhere near the first finger dune and where we can get cell reception? Kinda like where the SU truck was parked on clean up weekend. P.S. I hope no one out there wants to kick my head in or anything like that.

Don't mistake what I am saying. I agree that you should go by manufacturers specifications as far as towing capacities go. I would never recommend to anybody to tow anything over the vehicles rating. If you do you definitely open yourself for a lawsuit if an accident happens. Basically the bottom line is match your truck to your trailer or vice versa. And I do believe a regular cab long bed and an extended cab short bed are the same chassis. I don't believe, but I could be wrong, That anyone makes a regular cab, short bed, 1 ton truck.And by the way Pete your truck is cool.
