  1. I agree, a little steep for a VW, YIKES! Nice to look at though, love the prowler cars.
  2. I have mainly ran VW's in all of my buggies. There is a guy out here that builds them so I support his bussiness and any time I need something he has it which is a rare convenience out here. I run a 2332 cc engine and have never been stranded. I take this thing on 100 mile trail rides through the desert with out worry. Over the years I have learned to work on them and they are very simple and easy to maintain. If you want more than 200hp you would definately be better off with a modern engine. This is the reason for at least one of the VW cars you see out there.
  3. Ya, I remember the topic. I just wish the manufacturers would build them as a street legal vehicle. Maybe someday.
  4. I couldn't agree more. When is some one gonna step up and make a street legal SxS?
  5. If your car is mid engine it probably doesn't have a torsion housing to mount the irs arms to?
  6. Looks like it will work as far as the geometry, not sure if the forks are ready for that much load though. Try it and see, most of us have a garage full of stuff that didn't work the first time.
  7. I miss my RZR S, versatility is the word. Its the only SXS that really dunes well in stock form, its almost a buggy. I'm thinking there may be another one in my future!
  8. I used the .063 on the sides roof and hood, its plenty strong with a bead rolled in it.
  9. Congrats, you will like it in the sand, best mod is the paddles and smoothies.
  10. Shifter out of adjustment? Just a thought.
