lly. with the 6 speed allison, 47000 miles. i get right between 19-23 mpg if i keep my foot out of it. its almost to fast for a truck that big. but its fun

i now have a diesel my old gasser was not as strong enough to pull the toy hauler through the sand, and on the highway it was all the Z71 could do was 60on the flat on in the hills 40 if i was lucky. the new truck can pull as fast as i want to go :freakin_nuts: i've put on H2 wheels and tires, in dash nav, turbo back RBP exhaust, diablo predator tuner, debadged all but duramax badging, and put 2- 7in hids behind the grill. i love this truck. many more mods to come..........i have to save up for the next project....off road unlimited solid axle front end my wife thinks i'm crazy

we are in too deep now. if we left now we would be back in 5-10 years. and it would be way worst. things are changing over there in the sand box. women are voting, kids are going to school, they are starting to get the taste of some of the freedoms we have as americans. it will take time. and yes sad to say at will take lives.... on both sides

9/11............................... that day ............... i was stationed at nellis afb at that time. that day changed everything for U.S.A. the Military will never be the same. since 9/11 i have deployed 7 times (Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Iraq) and today i just found out about another trip i might be going on but i love the and i do it for family and friends, and the freedoms that we have as Americans . if you dont like it leave.

back in the day WW made good trailers....... and then they got greedy started cutting corners. to back a buck.and then they fired alot of a factory workers. alot of those workers went to work at Carson trailer, and basicly built the old school problem free WW toyhaulers..... GREED.

the dealership rape me on my 05 Z71 trade giving me only 11000 for it but i got the 06 for 19000. i dont now if that helps much mineurbiz now that i have a diesel what mods should i do and not do????????

just picked up an 2006 chevy 2500hd with a duramax/allison (lly/6-speed) 4x4 with 43000 miles. i needed to upgrade from my 2005 chevy z71. so much more truck. the wife said get a diesel and thats all it took.
