I have a cheapy China pipe from 50 Caliber Racing that sounds good on mine. It's the over pipe. Not sure if it is chrome or polished. It has held up good for ~10 years so far.

It's a couple clubs out of California that race, Dunemasters and Sandpipers. You'll have to look into who's in charge, probably Bill LeFever, and see how you can join. I don't know that it is a club that just anyone can join though. They are all very close friends of 50+ years. 

Why would they shut it down? There has been no talk of doing that unless social distancing isn't respected. But Dumont is huge and there is plenty of space to spread out. BLM has not mentioned anything to us about it getting closed.

The east Valero is only selling season passes. Nobody is selling the weekly passes this season for whatever reason.

Like every holiday weekend, there's good points and bad. I had a blast, but the every holiday weekend I go, the more I enjoy the off weekends. I didn't appreciate the insanely loud mariachi band music at all times of the day from every direction. The people who blasted that music that loud were really inconsiderate. I wish they'd be a little more respectful of others, especially crazy late at night and at 8AM! 

I haven't seen that many people out there since like 2004!

You'll have to ask the BLM about that. I, personally, wouldn't show up to vend if I did not have a permit to do so. 

Meet at which end of vendor row? Closest to the ranger station and rock pile side?

Halloween weekend pass update:

People can buy Season Passes at Carter Power Sports in Las Vegas, Johnnie Walker RV in Las Vegas, Kawasaki in Pahrump, and East Valero Gas Station in Baker. Season Passes will not be sold at the Dumont Dunes entrance. The only pass they can buy at the machines will be a holiday 7 day pass.

Just an FYI, I heard there won't be an ice vendor this year. Gonna be alot of melted ice this weekend in people's coolers. 😄

We're planning on being there. What's the official time? 10:30 AM on Sat? Depart at 11? 

Less than a week away! I've been working like crazy prepping and getting ready. 

We should have some good weather, maybe even cooler than past years. Highs around 80 and overnight lows in the 40s! Every other year I remember it being well into the 90's during the day. 

We have a new sponsor that will be of great service to the duners. Rich in Baker has plenty of firewood for sale that you can pick up on your way to Dumont. Call or stop in. His place is on the left side of HWY 127 just as you leave Baker heading towards Dumont.

Thanks for the update. One only Verizon phone had service? That is weird.

Yep! Not as much since they do the trunk or treat at vendor row, but we still got a decent amount of them at our camp the last couple years. People that like to go camp to camp the old skool way. 🤘
