  1. Halloween
  2. Good to hear, Steve. Bout time we hook up for a DUNE run.
  3. That's what jackets are for. Besides, not many chairs keep your back warm. Haha
  4. I picked up a Coleman suspension chair over the weekend. Super comfortable and looks well built. I'll be trying it out over the weekend and if it passes the test, I'll pick up another one for monkie.
  5. That's a work of art! Very nice.
  6. Looks like you'll have the place all to yourself! The nights will be perfect temps.
  7. Right on. Good luck getting it finished up for the weekend. This is probably going to be one of the coolest Memorial weekends in years. It will still be warm, but it looks like under 100!
  8. That would be great! Hoping we will have enough space. Mike B and I are bringing our dual sport bikes as well. I figure when it's too bright to dune during that certain part of the afternoon, we'll go explore a little bit.
  9. The weather for this weekend is looking awesome!
  10. No, with a sandcar you don't need a helmet. A side x side is considered 1000cc or less.
  11. Right on. Seems like with a little more notice this year we have a few more new faces coming out to join us for summer sand therapy.

  13. Cool! Right on, man. Looking forward to it. I'll post up some details/ times as it gets closer.
  14. Perfect for mid day dune naps then. I don't plan on buying enough for everyone else.
  15. Looking to pick up some new camp chairs. Any recommendations? Thinking about these, but they don't have any cup holders.
  16. Ha ha funny funny Jill!!! Lol That place is gorgeous. I couldn't believe the first time I pulled in there. I was like you gotta be kidding me! Eff our dirt road!
  17. Just called the ranger station and they said there hasn't been a blade run over the road yet and he wasn't sure if they will before Memorial weekend. He said it was pretty wash-boarded and you probably would leave your axles behind. haha Looks like we're going through Kanab and getting in late. .
  18. You've got it backwards, Pat. The first 4 miles will be smooth sailing pavement THEN it will be brutal.
  19. Unless Steve gets there early, nobody is getting there early that is in our group. We will only have the 2 rigs (so far). We'll see. We may just avoid the cane beds road just in case. As for being packed, I'm not too worried about it. We'll find a spot and squeeze in somewhere. I just found the pic that Jodi posted from the Sat morning of last year's Memorial weekend and that was NOTHING like it used to be. If you think that was bad, you should have seen it back in 04/05. You couldn't even drive through from one end to another if you had a big rig. Last year, Sat AM 2006 I think that 4 miles has been paved for a while now. I might try to call.
  20. Well here's why. Last time we took the cane beds road, it was literally in perfect condition. It didn't beat my trailer up at all like previous trips before that one. It cut a about an hour off our travel time. This trip we don't have the luxury of leaving early so it will be late Friday night. I'd like to get there before midnight if possible. If we rolled through Kanab that late in the evening, everything will be closed anyways.
  21. Anyone been down it lately? How is it? I hate beating my stuff up or hitting those soft spots because my trailer likes to sink at the first sight of silt, but it is a huge shortcut going to Coral.
  22. I don't think anyone thought it was just one position.
