  1. I don't drive my truck except on a rare Sunday and at least twice on Mondays.

I washed and waxed it a few weeks ago.

Where I park it is gravel and in the open.

I haven't had it off road since Presidents Day.

So that being said, how'd this mouse get where it is.

When I removed it, it was, well, never mind, but it was apparently there for a while.

    Has anyone seen this before?

  2. what do you think it is about the swings that makes them go crazy like that?

I don't know, but I remember when Wrinkles first bumped into a swing at the park, she liked it and from there graduated into biting it and banging it around with her jaw.

Bear on the other hand, saw Wrinkles playing with the swing at the park one day and decided it looked fun too, apparently, and he went after a swing like a shark to a fresh kill.

Maybe it's the clanking of the chains.

All I know for sure is, I have to hang it up on the top bar to prevent them literally from playing it to death.

  3. I just finished my dogs new toy - a swing set.

My dogs like to jump and chew on the swings at the park and I thought it might be cheaper for me if they chewed on their own swings rather than pay the city for torn up swings!

    See it here

  4. It is super windy here right now. Our friends from San Diego said it's been raining like crazy there. So we might get some of that bad weather. There's a good amount of vendors here. I got a couple cute girly things. Yay! The President's Day shirt at California Casuals is only $12. Recession pricing! :)

did you notice are there any food vendors?

  5. Of course I would talk you through the head choices - e-mail me and I'll walk you through it.

Now, if I can be allowed to complete the hijacking of this post, let me teach all the 'engine builders' out there some simple math about how to determine compression ratio:

You add your head volume cc (example 58) to your deck volume cc (example 10.54cc for .060) and to your cylinder volume cc (example 596.75) - your total here is 665.29

divide 665.29 by your head and deck (example here is 68.54) for a final cr of 9.70

Now if you have unequal deck heights (example one is 75, 2 are 65 and 1 is 60) you for a numbers sake can add them all together and divide by 4 (for a 4 cylinder engine) to get an avg deck measurement of 70.27 or 12.27cc.

If the rest of the above numbers are real you can insert 12.27 in place of the 10.54 and arrive at another cr figure of 9.49:1

The rest of the disparaging remarks made about Doghouse aren't worth discussing here.

  6. Speaking of trailer alarms I have one alarm system left that is specifically designed to keep trailers safe. Comes with a motion detector, door switches, wireless keyfob, siren and the ability to set off the lights, siren and lock the trailer brakes. I was selling these for $300.00 but would let this last one go for $175.00

That's something I could put in my LQ trlr. How do I unlock the brakes once they're locked? Do I just wire that in to the battery of the trlr or is it a 110 type alarm?

    Phil

  7. ADT monitors my trlrs doors, my shop & my house. $49 something/mo - screeching loud siren comes on real quick followed by phone calls, then the cops. Can't be beat for peace of mind.

Don't skimp, cover your trlr doors - when the trlr rolls out of range, the alarm goes off. So, get a trlr lock of some kind too.
