  1. So I will be heading out to Vegas for the Silver State 300 desert race for the first weekend of May. One of the many awesome perks that come with working for Weddle Industries. I'll be working the booth at contigency and tech inspection on friday so stop by and say hello and talk about tranny's!!! I'll probably be heading out to stateline on saturday to catch some of the action. Then I will be heading over to Sam Boyd Stadium to catch the Supercross Finals. Again, It's going to be a tough weekend!!!

Maybe I'll see you out there, come on out and check out the action. I think Tech and Contingency will be at the Aliante Hotel in N.L.V., not sure though.

  2. I was always under the impression that running race gas in any motor would add HP. I am certainly not new to the world of internal combustion engines and I had never heard this before. I will continue to run 91 then.

I have seen an addative that you are supposed to run in ethanol mix, I guess ethanol is not good for high performance ATV/MX motors. Since Cali is all 10% ethanol these days, I might try some of that addative.

  3. So I was going to get some race gas for my Pismo trip this weekend and was looking for a place to buy it, but then I came across this little tidbit of information that I have never heard before. I have met Alan from CT Racing once before and he seems like he knows what he is talking about. Apparently he says unless your motor is tuned for race gas, you can actually lose horsepower if you are running it in a motor tuned for 91!!!!

My LTR is a stock motor and I have run race gas mix in it before, seemed to run a little harder. Any motor builders here have any thoughts on this before I waste my money...

  4. Cruised up on Sunday morning. We got a set of "Sticky Whips" for christmas, Suction cup whip mounts. They worked perfectly, just stuck them on the Jeep and they never moved, even with a 1/2" whip and big 35" x 60" flag, they held just fine. We never went more than 35 mph and there was no wind at all, I would say they are great for getting to comp or banshee. Met the owner Eric, he whipped up some 1/2" mounts for me on saturday and I picked them up sunday, He just gave them to me raw to test out. I'll finish them up at the shop and get some pictures up.

Other than that, The dunes and whether were nothing short of perfect. We cruised over to the drags and just hung out there for a few hours. Should have worn shorts and t-shirt, temp in the jeep said 78. Jeep gets through the dunes with no problem, love that thing. Cant wait to get a lift on it.

Just took one picture at the drags
