  1. I used to like doing that stuff, but now I like them quiet....no more loud exaust or geardrives or any of that crap...Its cool for a while, then you get tired of it.......And I hate those damn loud harley, why would you want to hear that all the time...once in a while its cool , but not all the time..maybe because im getting wiser and older :dunno:

  2. This is a petition for an animal cruelty case set to go to court on July 23rd. The petition is to ask for a harsher sentence against the dog's owner, who has a history of animal neglect.

This took place in South Carolina, where the dog was put in a cage with no food or water and left to die in 100+ degree heat. The animal was found on the third day, dead.

It is really simple to sign, just follow this link:

    http://www.thepetitionsite.com/petition/282/325/874

    Thank you.

How is a petition going to help in a legal court case? But the bastard should be put in the same situation for a while

  3. Thanks for all the info.

It is for daughter and she decided on a 4 seat rhino.

What mods need to be done to the motor??

    What about spacers and suspension?

leave the motor alone, you can change the stock air filter and maybe a new cdi box, makes the top end speed a little higher, and maybe new springs for the clutch ( duners kit ) that what they call it..does it make a differance, i really dont think so....and if you want to do suspention, get walker evans shocks or even do a mid travel kit if you want...i run mine stock and it is fine....If you want a lot of info go to www.rhinotalk.net and they have a lot of info on mods and trouble shooting...

  4. My wife and myself want to go on a cruise to the bahamas area. anyone know of a good travel agent..or has anyone used the costco travel dept before?????? Or should I just book myself for the plane ride and cruise??? thanks alot for any response..andre :drunks:

ttt no one here travels or has tips?????

  5. OK, well we have decided to have Don (dons bus box) build the trans to the max and go for a Honda 3.5. The engine, wiring harness and ECU acquisition have been put in capable hands, so I can focus on the fabrication work and gathering the rest of the parts to complete the job. We are planning to start the up-grade in February and are currently doing our research on cooling systems.

    Wish us luck.......

IF you need help with cooling I can get you in touch with a good radiator man who can solve your cooling problem...Located in vegas, or at least talk too him.....just e-mail me and i will get you info...

  7. How many hours or miles before problems on a used one?

What aftermarket parts are needed to be able to get around in the dunes?

4 seat rzr do they have enough hp?

It really depends on the previous owner. I think a lot of people hammer there rides to death, because they have little power so they just do silly things to make them go faster and stuff like that. I love my rhino, but in honesty if it is for 2 people or less then go with the rzr-s , i heard that they do well in the dunes. I get very disapointed when i take my rhino in the dunes everytime...there not a sandrail, that for sure....hope this can help...

  8. to be sold....

i have about 100hrs on my RZR, not any problems yet. The only aftermarket things I have done to it is, tunes, and Filter

for a 4 seat rhino set up a roll cage obvious, i have 5 point set up in my rhino and a child car seat for my 2 yr old, and there snug as a bug...and most of all common sense, i dont do anything to risky with them in the back. But im not too crazy to begin with anyways...

  9. It is a law that you must run headlights on sections of highway that are posted as such. It's usually a 2 lane road with lots of hills and curves and a long history of accidents.

thanks..........I never run my lights, and never had a p.o pull me over for that....now i know

  10. It's got 273,000 miles (I've been told that's nothing for these trucks). We bought the truck in January of 2006 and it had 260,000 on it then. We've put new tires on it ( new, not retreads) replaced the air seats inside, new air bags, locking fuel caps, and all service work has been done at Trucks West Volvo/GMC on Losee Rd. Have all receipts since we have owned the truck.

depends on how well it was serviced, and detroit motors are ok

  11. Driver side bank: cylinders are 2,4,6 & 8

Passenger side bank: cylinders are 1,3,5, & 7

(It's opposite of a traditional GM gasoline motor.)

Here's a little advise: Never change only SOME injectors on that year Duramax. Replace them all...as a set only (all 8). There are a couple reasons why. Sometimes you may have high balance rates on one cylinder as a result of another injector issue. Another reason is if one or some injectors are bad, the rest are very soon to follow.

As for the required parts, here is a list including the part #'s. ;)

    8 injectors, 97729095

    2 rocker cover gaskets, 97188896

    8 return line seals, 97228933

    2 return pipe seals, 97600925

2 fuel feed hose seals, 97251047

    1 water outlet seal, 94011604

sealant for upper rocker covers, 12378521

    fuel filer, 12633243

    gallon of Dexcool coolant

I hope he knows what he's doing. It's no simple task like screwing in spark plugs. There are a couple critical things along the way that shouldn't be overlooked. Good luck!

pete is great help to chevy owners, got me going in the right direction, i still owe him like a truck load of beer.........lol cant wait till i break down again....j/k thanks again pete

  12. i worked on an ambulace for 9 yrs and saw some suff over the years........dont think you see this stuff all the time on an ambulance, can be a bit boring some days.... thats why a drive a big truck.....

  13. Local talk jocks, Jon and Ken, are planning on giving that guy crap until he gets fired :freakin_nuts: :usa:

I believe I heard it was the vice principal; and only when there was an uproar, the school administration threw him under the bus saying they didn't agree with his actions. This easily can turn into a hot button issue, because anyone who confronts this issue head on, is deamed a racist :usa:

All I can say is, good for those kids who grew a pair, and did something to show some respect for this great country :usa::thumb::usa:

and as for those kids who felt offended because american flags were displayed...in America...don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya :laughoff:

what makes me mad is when people fly the mexican flag at the dunes, and act like idiots....fly the us flag and act like a responsible adult, not like a wanabe gangsta......

  14. yep! Hauler and all. SKINNER is hookin up the rv spot. :beat::old: Should be a great weekend. Are you camping too, Andre? We should hook up and party sometime over the weekend out there. :ban-split:

I was gonna go to D one last weekend trip, but work hasn't picked up enough yet. So off to the drags it is.

sounds good, I owe you a beer or two or three.....lol im in spot # 6050, but just sleep there, spend the day at motor home spot # 3 at the line on the other side of the fence....where you going to be?
