the night before the races unfortunatley.. OK OK..I have rented a set of lights at 115$ for the day, it's a light tower with a generator attached. I have a friend at united rentals so that price is not bad at all, does anyone want to pony up some cash for another or can we get a bucket for a pitch in on another set. I can set it up to be picked up in Vegas if that is easier, I may be able to just tow one set and the bike in the bed...

allright lets tighten these things up this week.(loos Ends)..Let me know what you found out about the lights? What time are we starting? What hill are we running? ANd i want to get a for sure on the lights if it is possible for someone else to bring a pair. Looks likea good event and doesent conflict with any other drags..... What was the outcome of the hills , whoops or are they smooth..Should we get there earlier (Myself) to set up before dark so we can race as soon as the moon comes out..LEt me know any ideas to make this go smooth and who can i count on to give me a hand in getting the lights set up, Im bringing cones to line tjhe hill or a cool idea i thought was flares lined up on each side, Of course pick them up after... Want to make the hill as safe as possilbe ... :monkeedance2: :freakin_nuts:

I would love to head this up myself but do need your guys help so we all have a good time and we can all help to get the supplies out there.. this sounds good for sure.. We have got the date set for the first races, Nothing to crazy race wise just some heads up racing and run what you brung type racing. We have a few of the guys looking for the lights as myself, i dont think that will be a problem at all. And decide what hill to run, I would prefer Banshee hill because my YFZ is straight drag but looking at the pics of comp it aint too bad to run and i wont argue. Looking at this thread to get a head count and to varify what peeps are bringing. And any other ideas that will make it a funnight.

I also DJ and may be able to bring the generator, some speakers and the tables for some late night drag music...

So does the 12th sound like a good date, dont want to be there by myself..lol I think that is do able . Lets let the idea ponder for a night and if we agree then we will set the date tomorrow and get some feedback. You guys just done let me show up by my self.. .DUMONT NIGHT DRAGS and the light i am looking into and you guys check out your resources, i think more then 1 set will be needed but 1 will be fine... I have a huge gen. that will run a set if needed. A buddy of mine has a lite tree also he can bring...

how about a list of the full moon dates and dates that are not far off, and go from there. The 9th is nice but is it too soon? If you guys are cool with it and we can get some lights by then i can shoot for that date. Then if all goes well we could do it atleast 2 more times before halloween.. the 12th will give everyone about 3 to 4 weeks of prep time...

One way in and one way out for most, so well make sure they are taking a bag home... We could even get a bin close to the hill and make sure it's clean before they go home...

Let me hear some dates if you want to start a post to get the date set and then get some info on the lights..I need all the help i can get so lets do it.... Just wanted to throw this out there, i have a few people intrested in doing this, we just need some committed members and lights and a date. I have thrown this around and had alot of people respond. The glamis night drags are too far and to me the hills at dumont are nicer and easier to get to... Let me know what you guys think, i need some help on this is possible..thanksSam.
