  1. We are out for camping that weekend. We had a passing of a beloved family member and Tracy is out of town. I'm going to day trip Saturday to shake down the So Far Not So FUN-CO new to me rail. Worst case I will day trip with the RZR. Last year was awesome and it appears El Presidente has elevated the trip and made it better than the last one. Sorry to miss the weekend with such good peeps. I hope to catch a group run if the rail behaves proper !

  2. Unless you are changing the shims to tune them the rebuilding is easy. I did my Fox 2.0 non-resi rebuilds in about and hour for all 4. Cost me $60 bucks for a gallon of shock oil and the seal kits. Got them charged and they are holding 200 psi with no problems.

  3. Is anyone out there running a Subaru motor that would be willing to let me come look at how they are set up ? I can bring you some beer or something for a little of your time. I'm getting ready to plumb my engine and wire in the ecu and think seeing one all set up would be helpful.

  4. Went to the show today. Nothing to write home about. Nothing huge in the SxS arena or sand car realm either. Companies are just putting out full blown machines with a message that we can do this for you with a huge budget. Nothing to inspire your average guy to pick up a wrench or any products to buy. Last year people had things to sell. This year it's all slick brochures for you to order from. I can do that from home already. Oh well.

  5. I'm heading to the show early Sat morning, hitting all the vendors and rolling back after I'm done. I have room for a passenger or two if anyone wants to make the turnaround run. Not looking for any split of costs or anything. Just throwing it out in case someone wants to go. PM me here. I will check until 7 pm tomorrow night

  6. Thank you Jack, Mike and Pete. I'm looking forward to this trip big time since I didn't do any summer trips so I can get the new to me rail out this season. This trip will also be the first with another new to me, 3500 GMC Sierra Dually flatbed. It's my first diesel truck and in the week I've owned it I have enjoyed the hell out of it ! I will put some pics up when I get back.

  7. I had seen Bert in the dunes a lot over the years. Followed his car build and liked reading his posts. Got to finally meet him at the buggy run this year. Very nice man who loved to talk duning. Such a sad day. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better but from the posts here all who didn't know him can see what those who did thought of him. Rest in peace sir.
