  1. Hmmm, that one has legs that go all the way up and make a table out of itself. I'm looking at that table and umm, nothing. No attraction what so ever. Does that mean I'm good to go?? This one has folding legs (ie portable) you could take it to parties, Dumont where ever you need a "pocket table" Speaking of pockets, if you have 5 friends and a pooltable???? I wonder if he had friends and they took turns???
  2. I wonder what their kids would look like? It's probably the only thing with 4 legs in his house that would 'nt run from him. Now he gets to go on the Megan's Law website for table molesting. I wouldn't worry about the kids but you better hide your furniture. I wonder if he changed the table cloth everyday so it would feel like he was boinking a different table? I've been with women that I would'nt want my friends to see me with but never a table. Well at least it couldn't talk and critique him afterwards. His cell mates are going to love him "my momma has a table like that" "Bark table Bark" "what's my name!!" (spank) "say it, (pause) say it!" "Your a dirty table" "Is this what you like?" Seriously, you gotta wonder what made him even think about that being a good idea. His wife has got to be so embarrased. Poor kids, you know that they are going to have it rough at school for a very long time.
  3. I've thought about the dynojet kit and I've noticed FMF, Procircuit and Yoshi make exhaust for them. I just don't know if they are going to open that little sucker up enough to be worth the investment and which one I would use. To top it off, speed needs stability. I think Loanstar makes a rear axle for it but watching her ride makes me wonder if I do the rear, I'm going to have to do the front and I can't find any A arm kits and I really don't trust wheel spacers. I really like the quad for my daughter. It's the right size and it is giving her the opportunity to learn how to work a clutch (or not). She has just gotten real comfortable on it real fast and wants to be able to keep up with the boys and older girls. Your daughter is a bit older than mine, how does she like it?
  4. I was talking to somebody about biodiesel a few weeks ago and they told me that they don't feel like eating at Mickey D's because of the smell
  5. Nitrogen is a good idea, I run it in my daily drivers. It does good You'd probably have to take all the tires off and take them to a service center that has the nitrogen service. Unfortunatly you can't get it at the local gas station for a quarter. Still can't beleive they charge for air.
  6. Yeah, but I'm fun around a campfire. I'm a cheap basterd, I try and buy quads that will last them a few years. I kept my daughter on her LT80 for 6 years. Last season I realized her knees were hitting her ears and I sold the LT80 and stepped her up to a 250EX. She'll be stuck on that until she buys her own. I was planning on keeping the boy on the Predator until he was 10 but he rides pretty hard for a little guy. I was trying to get by for another 2 seasons but he is'nt going to make it, he's bored. I wish he was tall enough for the 250EX or a Raptor 250 but he can't hit the brake. I've never seen an Apex, only heard about them. I'm hoping it's built like a midsize quad that he could ride till he's at least 13-14.
  7. I have a 2003 Warrior 36'. Between 2004 and 2006 I had a total of 7 flat tires. Every single one of them was the stock tires that they had put on the rig when I bought it, CARLISLE. Every single one of them came apart the same way, like a retread. They just came apart and beat the crap out of the trailer. 2 ripped off the rear mount for the awning. 1 ripped out the fuel tank fill hose. 1 ripped up the floor of the trailer. 1 ripped out the side of the trailer. All in all those flippin tires cost me $9000 in damage to the trailer not to mention the cost of the tires. As for having a spare, I had one trip where 1 blew on the way out to Dumont about 12 miles shy of Baker and used the spare to only have another blow on the way home from that trip right at Barstow. Thank god AAA will bring you tires if you have the RV package. Needless to say, I'm paranoid about blowouts. I carry a floor jack, compressor and a airgun with me on every trip so I don't have to wait the 3 hours it takes AAA to get me back on the road. Since I have replaced the tires that came with the rig, CARLISLE, I haven't had a problem. I've got Goodyear and Americans on now. I do check them every time I hook up and everytime I stop for gas. According to one tow truck driver in Barstow he recommended I run 45PSI in my tires even though they say 60PSI. He says most of the blowouts he sees are because of overinflation and the heat in the desert and nobody compensates for that. I've had 1 tow truck driver and 3 tire shops tell me CARLISLES have a problem with tread seperation. Warrior even told me that they had a problem with them and stopped using them a few years ago. If you have CARLISLES, spend the $$$ and get something else.
  8. I bought my daughter a 2007 250EX last year. She is 12 years old and is getting pretty good at riding it. I'm trying to find out about suspension upgrades and what sort of mods to make it faster and more stable. She has been riding since she was 4 and knows how to kick it around pretty good but it seems to be a little unstable and needs to be a bit faster for her so she can play in the dunes with her old man. I've not had a lot of luck finding aftermarket stuff for this particular bike. It appears nobody makes anything for it except for a pipe. Anybody out there riding one of these or have any experience with them and has done what I would like to do. Any help or ideas are appreciated.
  9. Looking for some help here. My 8 year old is currently riding a Predator 90 that he has had since he was 4. I've had some electricle issues with it over the past couple of years but I finally think I've got them taken care of. It's piped and a few other slight mods (there is not much you can do with them). However the bike still lags according to his riding ability. He's pretty much a "go for it" kid Anyway, I'm debating getting him something new for next season and I've been reading about the Apex quads. They look pretty sweet. I'm leaning toward the 100cc race version. The questions I have for anybody who knows is are they reliable? How do they do in the sand? Do they outperform the Predator (it has been a good bike for him for the most part). How long will he be able to ride it? I don't want to have to buy him another quad for at least 5 years. Will he be able to keep up better on the Apex than on the Predator? Any information or knowledge on the Apex would be great.
  10. Hey Jim, I was wondering why the fire trucks were rolling down the road Best wishes to you and I sincerely hope they are giving you some killer pain pills. My family sends their best.
  11. I take my family to little dumont most of the time. If I am kicking it at the big dunes I hang a left at the top of the hill and head down about 100-300 yards and camp with the setup right on the edge of the canyon. Never had any problems there and you can't ride behind me or around me. Also the wind usually blows from camp towards vender row so you don't get the "dustbowl" effect as much. Downside, rocks so I make the kids run knobbies around camp. It's also a quicker shot from there to the backside of the dunes off to the left as your facing the hills where the kids can ride all day and you don't have to worry about them getting run over. You can also take them to the creek via the trail at the end of the plateau. My kids are 8 and 12 so I try to keep them as far away from the chaos as possible but close enough where I can enjoy it
  12. I have bags on my 2500 but did not have them on the 1 ton dually I had. 3500 ran and pulled fine without them the 2500 needed the help. I'd for go the compresser if you did get them, just something else to break and it only takes me about 30 seconds to fill them myself when I hook up my 36 ft 5th. Just so you have a heads up, bags will make it real stiff on a 3500 when you air them up to pull. You already have a stiff ride to begin with.
  13. I found $3.97 in the OC at a Chevron 6 miles from my place. I also saw $4.59 at 2 right down the street from me. I'll make the drive to save $.62 a gallon.
  14. We'll be heading there Thursday - Sunday. Looks like it's going to be a nice weekend. The dunes should be fresh and pure like a babies butt. I love making fresh tracks.
