considering i have to now work saturdays just to pay the taxes and have enough fuel for the week. i will probly be planning less out of town trips. at least the toys are paid for.

i saw in a post for a rhino for sale on here that is registered in calif. wonder how he got that done? he hasnt responded to any questions. if cali can do it we just have to show dmv that the surrounding states have done.

had a great time. finally got to put faces with names, doubt i'll remember any though. looking forward to hanging out next time.

i plan on hanging by the pool, selling a bike, buying a bike, work, work, and more work, to have enough saved for the cool season to ride more.

why is it i can buy a scooter, not register it not insure it and not required to have a helmet, but i cant get my rhino licensed legally? oh yeah that scooter better be 49cc or smaller. i need to have a disabled vehicle either registered or have a permit to even tow it with any wheels touching the ground. if u dont have the paperwork look out cause metro will pop you. also driving a piece of equipment on the streets is illegal, go figure. guess we all should get those scooters and not have to pay for insurance or registration, on top of that it gets outstanding gas mileage, so we can screw the oil conglomerates too. thanks for letting me rant.

the shop that did the work on my bike called me after seeing this, they asked me to bring the bike in to get looked at. so i took it to them today, they called back and said the timing chain is loose and needs replaced. they are working on a price to help me out. all in all the shop isnt a bad one, just getting aggravated at the situation with my bike. not the shops fault on any of this. just pissed at polaris and not getting the results i'm looking for.

do you get visitation rights? switch every other weekend? :mischevious:

took it to the dealer for serviceing, while it was there asked the tech to look at spindle and tie rods. he couldnt find anything wrong. guess i leave it until something finally shows up.

so how do u check the timing? its controled by the cdi box isnt it? of course thats after i get it running again.

no motor work this is a stock bike. the work was done by a shop that advertises on here. last riding season it had 3 valve adjustments, took it in when it wouldnt start. on 4th time they replaced the valves. i got 3-4 rides and now its doing the same thing. when it was in for valve replacement i asked for a stronger valve and was told there is no such thing for my bike. i cant believe that. found out the stock valves only cost $17 intake and $35 exhaust. so i guess i got robbed paying $800 for the last replacement.if any one wants to know what shop pm me. i wont be going back to them.

i'm not sure you would need a windshield if its registered as a motorcycle. just a helmet.and the turn signals are easy, just get the hotrod wiring for a model T.

the thing wont start pops thru the carb. sounds just like when the valves stuck, numerous times before. tired of adjusting valves after 2-3 rides. had the dumb things replaced 3 rides ago, cost $800 i'm not paying that much again. so how do i adjust the valves. also is there a hardened valve i can put in there to stop doing this all the time?

ok guys help me out here. was at amargosa showing off, hit a small dune with the right frt wheel. came off dune and noticed that wheel was at a 45 degree angle. limped it back to camp. couldnt find anything bent. tierods look straight, cant find any paint peeling on knuckle where tierod bolts on. thinking i bent the knuckle. so i did a quick alignment to get it rolling. had to break the bead off the tire to clean the sand, reseated the tire. and off we went. so my question is what bent?
