    they are not checking for the actual weight of your rig...they are going by the GVWR of your rig....and if its a tripp axle. either bumper pull (> 10,000 lbs) or 5ver (>15,000 lbs)...you will need a non commerical class A license to tow those rigs they actually look at the GVWR on the nose of the rig and what one CHP pulls people over for...the other will not...its all choice by them

    in ca the legal lenth is no more than 60 ft i believe if your axles are 5200lbs max...where does 14500 come from...your gvwr should 15,600 lbs

    ive got the orange one from harbor freight...have had it threeyears, and only cost me like 40 bucks..........i use it to raise-lower my jacks on the hauler, tire/wheel removal.......all kinds of things
