  1. I think a short barrelled (legal) 12 gauge pump is the most effective weapon in a in home attack. First it can safely be left unchambered with the safety on and it becomes very difficult for a child to "rack a round". Second I can tell you from experience that when you "rack a round" it makes everybody around pay attention! Third #7 or #6 shot makes a nice hole in whatever it may strike at a close distance but does not have the power to penetrate apartment walls etc. after any kind of distance since it spreads out. Very formidable weapon!

I'd have to agree with that also. 12 gauge rounds come in all shapes and sizes.......and they won't go through everything before stopping. Especially if you have around 18" barrel with a pistol grip.... :beercheers: Good for tight quarters and nice spread for sleepy eyes.

  2. just curious don as to why california people would have to be carefull of this thread. i know ca laws suck major a$$ but this is only a discussion

I don't know why either....but I definetly don't feel comfortable advertising what I have. Just preference I guess......just be sure that I'm packing and I am not going to make an easy victim.

  3. Oh yeah, have you ever had anybody mandatory escort your watered down beer from the bar to your dinner table for you? Flippin' Weird! (St. George, Ut., Applebees Restaraunt, State Law?) You CAN NOT carry your beer through the restaraunt from the bar to your table? WTF? The beer there is only water with a little food coloring anyways! Don't get me started!.... Sponsored bar entry, No alcohol at any stores, Everything closed on Sundays, Strange looks from the locals if your daily driver doesn't look like a farm vehicle......and On and On!!!!!! :banghead:

I went up to Salt Lake for a week long training course and we had to get sponsored to purchase the weak a$$ beer that they are peddling up there. :banghead:

  4. Good news. My buddy has a pair of 6" KC HID's that he is willing to sell for $400. They normally retail at $800 and have only been used once on his old race truck. I'm hoping they are in great condition.......so lazer's might be out!

  5. Nice rail. :laughoff:

At the risk of asking a stupid question: What does EPO stand for? I have been seeing that on GD.com and was wondering.

There's nothing like the sound of a healthy V8. Personally the next rail I go with will be Honda or Subie. With gas the way it's going my budget would be out the door with a V8.

  6. There are too many to list here! :laughoff:

I hear ya....I get the willie's when I roll into the small towns after 6pm. We stopped in one on our way to Powell and you would have thought we were in the twilight zone. :laughoff:

  7. so you guys are goin? bring sherry with ya!! or is she goin to be helping her mom?

No...family comes first in our house. I had to back out even though I hate doing that. If I was going, fctryblack84 and I would have been wherever we were needed to support my buddies team.

  8. My buddy, who co-drives and does the welding, just sent me some pics of their front A-Arm setup on the Explorer. They are only allowed 15" of travel in his class and they are switching over to dual King shocks up front.

    Pretty beefy.....little ugly....but it's racing and it's been proven!!

....also that's a picture of the driver and the new paint scheme. Props to the guy for racing in his physical state!!

  9. This post was not meant to impress all of you, but rather to Shock and Awe!

I'm in a awe from all of the details, even though I don't agree with his choices. Like the closeup of the twenty dollar bill. Looks pretty damn real to me.....especially with the crease down the center of the bill. Nice work.....lots of details.

  10. I have a friend that is racing in that one....I'm supposed to help out! Man am I glad someone started this thread....I almost forgot.

He just sent me the full course layout and the start times.......Looks like a killer race.

  11. If your gonna ride with your I -pod may I suggest some social distortion or mudvayne or rise against-anything that has a fast beat and rocks!

I like your choices, but I was personally thinking more like Pantera or Slayer maybe even some SOAD. :rainbow1:

  12. Just get the 30 gig IPOD and your in the house ,movies, video, the whole package.

With the new ipods you can....just download your favorite skin flicks for the dunes!! Technology....gotta love it!

By the way...dudes watching porn together just isn't right.....right wingnut!!

  13. ^^ The 1/2 ton guy hasn't even towed his lil trailer w/ a 1 ton yet and he's already talkin crap! :puke:

That would be great then Dave! Let's do it! I'd save a bunch of money in fuel with the high cost of diesel lately. :rainbow1: As long as you can still tow my truck and condo at Mach 3 or I'll even settle for mach2. :puke::shake::thumb:

I'll take the day off, pay for the beer, and provide camera footage just to see that one. :shake:

    .....

    :rainbow1:

Edit: I'll even settle for 65mph.

  14. :rainbow1: :headbang: I knew this thread was gonna go here.

"Don't nobody go in there for bout 35-45 minutes!"

    :dunce:

I remember that movie.....Hilarious!! Even more funny since I grew up really close to that area. :blury:

  15. :rainbow1: :headbang:

I might have to keep Black Beauty around just long enough for you to get "good" in your new car and then hand you your a$$ in my old a$$ piece of junk.

I mistook your rail for Sand~Snake's.....he told me "It's nice to see a rail in the group that's more in my range."

I told him..."No way, I've seen the pics of that rail in a wheelie....not the same level!" I thought he was setting me up!!

My bad....I must have sounded like an A$$, but what's new. Black Beauty looks like a serious "sleeper" to me.

  16. Damn...... I am from the country not the city.......Driving a big a$$ truck around, just to look good now thats a waste. It looks to me as if that truck is gonna go out and make the owner some money, instead of costing him(or her). No No NO it is not a waste, Those trucks are made to work hard, wash it off and then head of to the hoedown :headbang: I love saying hoedown.

If it wasn't for show...then why didn't he just get a 4x4? Seems to make more sense to me.....considering the conditions that it will be in for plowing. Maybe that's why it's red....so when it hits ice and slides off the road it'll be easier to find!! Just a thought.....
