OK! just let me tighten a couple more bolts and i am on the way!.... why do today, things that can be put off till tomorrow!...damn i am runnin out of "tomorrows"..LOL

+1 with terry, gel gloss, its for fiberglass, gel coat, schtuff like that. Pink can (lowes has the aerosol can, not sure about the gallons) spray, haze, wipe, and den its chiney mang! or you can call the dudes that detailed my hauler last time, they charged me 250 (obviously not something you want to do every trip, but sometimes its nice to give it a proper freshening up) , they had 4 dudes here for 6 hours! top to bottom literally cleaned the roof down to the tires. waxed the entire outside, cleaned the storage area, cleaned the cabinets, the fridge, all the glass/mirrors, vaccumed and shampooed carpet, even armor alled the garage floor. (wasnt the most fun thing to walk on, but it was the funniest, to watch someone walk on) lol.

I have some other "irons in the fire" that i am working on so hopefully this list will continue to grow!! BTW tickets are going to be the same as last year as far as the price goes, 5.00 per ticket, or 5 tickets for 20.00! This is a great way to support the event! I was just talking to Pete and I am pretty sure we are going to get together this weekend for a "regatta details" meeting, so I will have an answer to your question real soon! I assume that after we get all of the "crew" together there will be a update thread for everyone about the event!

top mount starter motors fit but there is more "massaging" required, carb issues, and such, but they work. if you look at the link you can see what i mean. scroll down about 3/4 of the way and there is a pic with a full view from the side. 70 build pics

bandit bike is for sale kids, i know, i know, the regatta is just a month away, but it is time for another build and i am draggin my feet on getting julie's bike together. so its on ebay. heres the link bandit 70

hopefully they dont just do a "blanket" ban on giving out permits, and take into consideration the regattas light hearted nature, the fact that its an event involving 10hp vehicles that mainly stay within the camp circle (minus the trip to vendor row), and I think we did pretty good job following the rules last year, with the wrist bands and everything. I realize that accidents can happen with any event and they need to cover their a$$es, but i hope they consider permiting on a case by case basis.

pretty sure he isnt going out, he mentioned having an event to attend i beleive. his car made it through the weekend on his last trip though so maybe this has changed!...lol

has anyone else started looking out the window to see if UPS is there with their DRATV order yet!!!????.....lol i have a problem, is there any atc70 support group or something. lol 72 days left, tear down, mock up, tear down again, powder, paint, polish, upholster, assemble, and test. NO PROBLEM!!, oh yeah and christmas,is in there somewhere too.....lol

Had a great weekend with everyone! finally got the first trip of the season in! julie and i rolled in on friday around 2ish after spending some time at the dmv and doing our grocery shopping in fabulous downtown pahrump. we picked a spot, and dropped anchor. hung out for a bit and then Al showed up a little later. We had a mellow evening, watched a movie while we were around the campfire, Al of course started cooking on Friday and Didnt stop all weekend!!! lol i am still full and its monday night! Pete and Anna showed up just in time to rescue the "paper plate" fire with some much needed fire wood lol thanks!. followed by the rest of the group throughout the night. Poker run was good, had fun runnin the route. thanks to everyone for makin it a great event and weekend! Terry and Pete for putting on the event and all the volunteers for working the checkpoints and especially the hot chic that was at registration (yeah i got her number!..."brown chicken, brown cow!") thanks to Al for feeding the masses as usual, even though he swore to me that he was coming out to play and not work!! (Al's version of "not working" consists of making everyone full to the brim with cheeseburgers, nachos, onion rings, french fries, tri tip sandwiches, smoked ribs, annnnnd oh yeah...friggin donut holes!) Thanks again Al!! BTW congrats on driving the car back into the trailer when the weekend was over! haha! great seeing everyone else jack and his crew, Brian and Nikki see you on T-Day weekend, Travis and Tori(sp?) thanks for 'adopting' my kid for the weekend!lol, Bert the car is awesome! see you T-day as well!
