  1. Yeap.. drive my buggy with my Ipod when I am ALONE and on a fast dune trip following the boys. Listen to Kidrock.. Audioslave, Lisa Marie Presley.. even I know.. Kelly Clarkson sometimes. Don't use it when I have my kids with me. We like to sing our own songs. Hee hee. Also, have to pay attention to them when they are in the rail.
  2. Needed that tip.. cause the book only shows times for pizza. Part of the fun is playing with the thing or anything for that matter?! hee hee. THANKS!!
  3. Poppers, onion rings, waffles... GREAT ideas. Now we need to make up a time sheet for people who don't know how long to cook em for. Chicken Nuggets 11 min. works great! Crispy out... hot inside.
  4. People in my way... on the freeways, in stores, slow walkers, etc. I always have places to be.. so move!!!!!!!!! HA ha ha. Just like on a motox track... if I am lapping you... move over~ Also- having to wipe the toilet seat before one relieves themselves! If you sprinkle when you tinkle - wipe it up!!! This always happens at sporting events, concerts, in people's moho's after a few too many. You get the idea. Pay attention. Gosh.. do I know you all good enough to say that ? Ha ha ha.
  5. Yeap- you DDR peeps had me when I first saw that thing in dunefreaks trailer. Like the idea of a midnight snack or even the kids can make their own chicken nuggets now. They are having a ball with this thing. Easy cleanup.. wipe off and done. So bought one for the Moho.. and a wedding gift for a young couple who don't cook! Looked at my Walmart.. they had none!! Said they were seasonal.. so went to Walmart.com. Think they were $49. there and Ebay were $69. Thanks guys for sharing your idea! I love it. DDR Rocks!!!
  6. Mike, That is the best article I have ever seen on a clean up. Very complete and of course the pictures are GREAT. Looks like a sunny day.. and clear. When we all know.. it was drizzly.. and chilly. Always love when someone puts in a picture of the kids too! It was their day to to shine. Start them young. Great job my friend. Cat~
  7. ynot, That may be doable. It is on the schedule for end of June.. so will keep you in mind. Until then, be safe~
  8. mikebob, Where's that nice Suspensions Unlimited of yours in the pix? huh Anyhow, thanks for- you and the boys coming to Dumont to hang with us. Always a great time. Sorry we missed Michelle. Wonderful VINO too. Much appreciated. We cramm lots of stuff.. but in an organized way. S/U semi carries 5 sand cars.. and 3 people, tools, parts, Monster energy drinks.. and more. Our stacker carries 2 LT sandrails a kids quad, couple dirtbikes and one Banshee. So then we had to go get a 500hp Holiday Rambler to pull that.. after it seems of a life time without a moho. So much work to get ready to go and when you return.. but dunes on a bad day even are worth. it. There are pix on here already of our semi and our moho or else on our website under the Dumont cleanup.
  9. Terry, (ynot) I am just glad your a man. Hee Hee... never know with a name like Terry... oh wait if it was Terri.. then I would be nervous. Sorry your season is done. Enjoy your summer. We are playing through Easter in Glamis. Think the rig goes out to Arizona.. for some Nascar thing maybe too in April. Then either a Utah or St. Anthony's is on the calendar for June/July. Stop on by if you all see us around.
  10. Our photos are up today from Dumont and the clean up. See Photo Gallery. http://www.suspensionsunlimited.net
  11. Pictures are up on the www.suspensionsunlimited.net website NOW Maybe you will see yourself somewhere? Take a look. Thank you very much Terry (ynot) for your acknowledgement. Much appreciated. Fridays demos were a bit slow due to the light crowd and set up time. Sat. demos didn't start til after 3pm and only daylight for awhile. Since the cleanup was going on till after 2pm. Sunday was alright.. weather was a bit wet as well. Quite possible we will end up with 1- 3 cars sold generally down the road. One friend from high school was there took a ride, but was over in the little dunes.. didn't know of the clean up- he is a for sure done deal! Yahoo. Dumont family is always good to us. What's good for us.. is we were open on Sat. in the store, in Ontario. That was a busy weekend we heard. So if we can pay the bills we can be involved as much as we are and be able to give back. My favorite is giving to the kids! Little future of our dunes. So... how can we get the little dunes campers to come over and help? Or should we have a sub station over there next time??
  12. Thanks all who came and cleaned up. Not only this day, but always! It seems no matter where you go- wind will carry trash..even when it could be your own. So everyone always has to make it a point to pick up excess, if it comes across your path. After the clean up I was cleaning up the S/U camp and area. Do you believe we had some smokers there for raffle prizes... who left cigarette butts everywhere. Not regular butts, ha ha... but I picked up 15 over by where we had the food area. I had trash bags and we had our S/U trash cans out. Don't get that one at all, at a cleanup but leave trash in the cleanup camp. Now not complaining, as I am a clean freak kinda anyhow and I pick up everything.. but just not cool. Maybe they didn't realize it.. so this will be friendly reminder to smokers.. maybe put your butts in a can or cup.. then take them all to the trash? My little 3 year old digs in the sand in camp. Don't like her having to pick those up. Thanks to all if they already do this. Also, that food and tee shirts and prizes were not free for some ....hint, but we gladly appreciate all of you wearing them, using them and taking part in keeping Dumont clean. Thanks all for the participation. Let's keep it up. Cat~ S/U Cru
  13. ynot, I have the utmost confidence in you being in that position- to represent our dune user interests. Since you are one first hand. Appreciate you stepping up~ keep a bottle of Advil handy! Cat ~ S/U CRU
  14. Sure.. but you gotta feed me cake, young man, CAKE ! Glamis.. next weekend Friday.. so let's roll !! Friday to play... hubby is out for 3 months!! Now's your chance. But ya gotta catch me first. j/k Is your car ready? Bring it down if ya want to my service dept. Let me see if we can squeeze it in. Cat~
  15. steveo, Nice to meet you and thanks for showing up for a ride on Sunday in the Sand Pro 2. Next time go with me.. in 'The Warden'. Sorry Don29Palms we didn't get a chance to dune too. DDR group and our cars all have to get our schedules in place next time. ynot.. you can come too. I get to lead. hee hee. You all don't mind following a lady do ya? Thanks all for putting us on your top 5 list. Honored !! Cat~ S/U Cru
  16. Yeap, that is our newest S/U Sand Pro2 Mid engine 2 seater.. LS1 650hp. See on the shock mounts the "S.U." ? Kinda hard to make out. It handles sweet. We had the other mid engine 2 seater demo car out and gave demo rides as well. Flashpoint came out Sunday evening 4-5pm when most were gone already. It ran the Comp. hill about 10 runs. Ran incredible. That rocket.. only comes out when it's safe and about 12 of our crew and a few spectators were there. Sorry you missed it.. but always a next time. ash... thanks for sharing your photos too! http://www.suspensionsunlimited.net Cat~
  17. Okay sorry is in order, first off. Pictures were in the camera for a week. Just got over to my website guy and he will have them up by this weekend. http://www.suspensionsunlimited.net Under photo gallery and Dumont Cleanup. The group photo I took will have many of you in it. Ah the memories. Thanks everyone for having us~ We sure enjoyed meeting some really fun folks and laughed a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DDR camp definatly friendly. My kids in the wagon... oh man... they had a blast. Thanks !! The cake was really nice Don29Palms... Food was good!! Great meat all of it. Appreciate you all doing that. Chili... was too tomatoeeee - I will make sure it is better next time. But you all ate it. WOW!! Can't wait for you all to see yourselves in the photos. So keep an eye out. Thanks for posting some photos on here as well. I found myself in one too... wow, I never get in them cuz I am always taking them. I am in the red S/U hat black and white shirt on right of S/U trailer. Thanks all for a great cleanup and to new dune friends. Next time we need more duning time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For all who took Demo rides.. awesome and thanks for coming by. All I can say is free shirt, free prizes, free food and shelter from rain next to your dune brothers and sisters.... shame on you if you weren't there. Better have a good excuse. ha ha. (also.. my lateness is due to a fellow dune brother having a injury and needing surgery to fix it) Unforeseen accident on a dirt bike. Lovely. Have a great weekend ya'll.
  18. Well Brian.. Alex, and Tony will like that. Vic, you know how Brian loves to be apart of that. New picture time!~ Great great, things happening this weekend in Dumont. Then.. S/U Demo Rides!! 19. mikebob, Yahoo... more S/U Cru family Brian is looking forward to seeing Alex and Tony. They will be there right? Brian and I are missing team baseball photos - for this clean up and trip. Hows that look for team mom..and a main sponsor for little league again? Oh well... always the dunes. Anyhow.. we will be camped with the S/U rig and our moho set up. You know how that goes. So see ya soon~ Also have your seatbelts ! Cat~
  20. Just askin... but any kids in the DDR camp? I have my menu planned for 10 people in my S/U group a day.. but seems we may just be able to bring our huge thing of Tri-tip chili over for the potluck. Let me see how it goes. That is if you all would be accepting of us~
  21. Steveo and everybody for demos, Early Sat. we are committed to the cleanup since it's in our area...but will be doing demos after cleanup on Sat. and on Sun. Come on over whenever you are ready. But if you want a cleanup t shirt.. they are first come first serve. he he. Then dune time~ woo hoo! Cat~ http://www.SuspensionsUnlimited.Net
  22. Yeah, those are heavy cars.. would of never thought. Big K was jammin in that thing though
  23. Hey Terry, Nice to meet ya. Will do in person soon! Our rig pulls out Thursday afternoon.. so probably Thurs.. evening. Have not talked to Vic. yet on where she wants us.. but remember last cleanup that I was at there was across from Vendors a bit. So imagine we will be over there again. I think where we were on Vet.s weekend was the right spot. Did you see us there this year? Also, my permit through BLM states we will be in that area. My paperwork for permits was done way early in the season. Is that good for you? cat~
  24. We will be there. Clean up is taking place under our awning and rig set up. S/U is glad to be the main sponsor for this clean up this year. Last one we went to and gave prizes and worked in Dumont.. whew..it was hot!! Hope for nice weather this time. So I'll be there.. look for the big Suspensions Unlimited Semi and awning. We all may just be camped close by it seems. See you all Saturday. Demo Days for us as well... come on by for a ride in our rails. Feel free to ask us any questions as well. Looking forward to meeting many of you.. that is if we already have not met before. Cathi~ 'The Warden' http://www.SuspensionsUnlimited.Net
