  11. What i found was it was best to register bike with original motor. i had to go to DMV fill out paper work and pay $75.00 then go to CHP from there they validated the motor wasn't the correct motor and i had to get a bill of sale from there i went back to CHP validated info again then back to DMV and i was done. Its allot of running around and time consuming but do able.
  12. Okay juniors here you go your own build thread, but first the rules. 1. Junior most be the builder of the ATC70 and/or supervised by an adult or have at least done 50% of the build. Adults building ATC70 for a child is not considered a junior build, juniors must be part of the build process. Basic tear down and peaced back together is acceptable as 50%. 2. One post per junior builder, this means that you can only post your build once, if you aren’t done you can update your post with the progress of the build then add a post stating build updated so we can go back and read on the build progress. 3. Give credit where credit is due, if you have had work done such as parts/paint/chrome/powder coating/motor work/electrical work, etc and want to give props to the individual please do so. If you have picture of you doing the work please post those as well. 4. Age limit, that’s right guys and gals there is an age limit, junior means junior ,maximum age is 16 years old. This will help in getting a head count of all that will be participating in the Junior Build category. Okay juniors you have your assignment get with your parents and get your post together and post it here at this link: Junior ATC 70 Build Link Here are a few pics of the three entries we have: Rockstar Devil Child FullThrottleFlores

  23. You know those racer guys they never tell what they really have. If i am not mistaken he told me he had the YX 160, go figure Last year at the tres Regatta, Travis invalid that Daytona motor, holly chit that thing is fast....
  24. Nice site, I see a 70's regatta is in the works over there. :B
  25. Ron from Hooker point i believe said his motor was the YX 160cc And Travis from Sterdy (the pink bike) had a Daytona 155 Both are fast motors :atc: Agree on the tranny, i did some research (calling around) and found that the gearing in those chinese motors are low geard for better bottom end. Also spoke with Robert from Strerdy and a few customers and they had mentioned that Robert (Sterdy) has a head that has been worked for the 88cc that wakes the basic 88 kit up. As for installation- Pretty simple, my son installed his 88 kit with my supervision. My sons 14.. Keep us posted on your decision of kits...
