thats great, although I have never had a problem at the river in over 40 years crossing it. now, if they would only do the same thing from there to the asphault highway I would be real happy.

Bought a rhino in Utah in 06 just got a letter sayin i owe $ on tax..
foolofsand replied to JoeDuner's topic in General Chat
Its the dealers problem if sales tax was not collected. The dealers are the ones in trouble because they sold the machine without collecting sales tax and now Utah wants them to pay after the fact. Utah has gone back and forth on this a couple of times(collecting sales tax vs dont bother). Who is to say that your purchase price didnt already include the sales tax since the machine was delivered paid in full? Who sent the letter, the state of Utah or the dealer? Bet the dealer did since they owe the state the sales tax they did not collect. This is strictly a Utah internal problem between the state and the dealers. If you received your machine, paid the bill in full, I would assume the sales tax was paid(whose to say it wasnt included in the sales price?). -

New ATV law for kids under 14 going into effect
foolofsand replied to Crowdog's topic in Dumont Regulations, Safety & BLM
great idea, but where do kids in nevada go to get the safety course in vegas? do the atv shops have them, are they free, do they frown upon a yamaha rider going to a honda course? thanks -
pretty simple. you have a choice to do anything you want, follow the law, break the law or whatever, its your choice. you just dont have to a choice to die, we will all die and you cant stop it. do you wear a helmet on your quad? you dont have to if you choose not to. just because its the law doesnt mean you have to obey. freedom of choice. ps-I dont understand you post above?? what did you say?? nuff said, time to ride.

you all amaze me with your comments. its NOT ok for a kid to wear a helmet in a buggy, but it IS ok for a kid to wear a helmet on an offroad atv, dirt bike, go kart, bicycle, skate board, etc. I fail to see your reasoning behind your statements. weak necks, give me a break. if their necks are so weak, then the driver of the buggy has no business putting them in a buggy. one thing is for sure, you can rationalize anything you want to meet your criteria. no point in discussing this any longer, as some people place their heads in a helmet and some place them somewhere else, everyone has a choice for now until laws are made for you. like I said, if you cant make a rational decison by yourself, the lawmakers will do it for you. the more accidents and deaths at the dunes, the more the lawmakers want to get their hands in the kitty. the overwhelming fact is that helmets are safer than no helmets, look around and see all the helmets on bikes and quads. why is that? was that your choice? or did someone make that choice for you?---aaaaaah, maybe the lawmakers made the choice for you!! even though there are laws, you dont have to abide by them--your choice. the only thing that you HAVE to do is die-the only thing that you have NO choice. peace out, ride safe.

No offense, but you are the biggest naive person I have ever read posts from. Actually, I DO PAY YOUR BILLS along with everyone else out there. What are you, a person living on an isolated island in the middle of nowhere? Every bill you pay is also paying for someone else-like it or not. You talk like you dont have clue about economics etc. The 21 year old deal is just a number, make it 18 then, who cares. The reason there are age limits is because under age children can not make a rational decision concerning their safety. So, they leave it up to people like you to make that decision. So, if your child dies from a buggy crash or whatever, is it their fault or the fault of the irresponsible parent? Like I said, if we dont police ourselves, then the legislatures will and they really dont have a clue about the laws they make.

if you store inside all the time, put locks on the inside too. rig some sort of lock system. should be easy. that will keep them busier for a long period of time. I dont know why they dont just steal the whole trailer and work on it at home?

helmets?? hmmm. helmets give protection and that is what joe-q-public insists upon. it has nothing to do with freedom of choice. the lawmakers are going to take that away from you for 2 reasons and you will have nothing to do with it. #1 deaths from atvs, buggies etc and #2 the insurance industry will mandate it and the legislators will implement it. so, get ready, it will come. I am for freedom of choice over 21, but mandatory under 21. I will lose also, law making will come. same reason we have windshields, steel sides in cars, seatbelts, flags on atvs, no riding double, helmets on atvs etc etc etc. either police yourself or the feds will do it for you. :yeah_whatever:
-
try a bigger one. Im hoping it doesnt work, but theives will find way
-
should be your choice BUT under 21 it should be mandatory. 21 is supposedly the age to make a better decision.

some of the other sites have guys in construction and framing companies that will give away scraps of wood for free. any one here that is a super that can offer wood for the dunes? thanks, just checking.

heres the website, if it works. http://thirdrate.com/kryptonite_files/2.mov ps-I had 4 of them for my motorcylces and krytonite exchanged all them for free a few years ago.
-
just saw this post for the 1st time. have you tried to open then lock with the end of a ball point pen? those round style keys are like the krytonite motorcylce locks that were all recalled and replaced with a key type. if it is the same type of lock, it takes less than 10 seconds to open with the pen. I would check that out, as I wouldnt like you to lose your toys again. go to the krytonite website.

rv dealers are not like car dealers. rv dealers do not have to service any rig that was not purchased from them--totally unlike a car dealer who must service their brand of car. johnnies is no different from any other rv dealer, california is the same way, utah and ariz the same way. Im not for or against johnnies, just stating the facts for rv dealers. they might service a rig not purchased there, but you will be in the back of the line.

so, you are saying the dodge diesels, 1/2, 3/4, or 1 tons cant get out of their own way? the mega cab is not much bigger than the others. please explain, as I talked to a guy the other day with the 3500 megacab dodge and he loves it. he has a 36' 5th wheel and says he justs puts it on cruise 65 and goes down the highway.
