  1. Our sandrail has dual webber 44's and I need to find someone that can actually FIX them. I have had two people work on them and after spending over 350.00 between them both they still do not run correctly. They run awesome on flats and in the dunes and even comp hill they scream, however as an example, on the way to comp hill or the north pole when going over the whoops or heavy washboards they start to bog real heavy, to the point of stalling the engine. as I said, if I am in smooth areas the car has zero problem, hit any major bumps and it sputters and I lose all power. I need to find someone in Southern California who can actually remove them from the car, do a clean total rebuild and install and tune them on the car so they are in sync. If you know of anyone, or if you are able to do it, please send me a PM and I will send back our contact information or call you if you leave a number. Thank you Tom and Bunny

  3. Look for our HelmetPigtails trailer or our sandrail, it matches our trailer. We will be out there tomorrow thru Saturday afternoon. We don't know for sure exactly where we will be but we will be by bathrooms 8 or 7 but most likely 7
  4. We will be parking in the finger where the entrance to comp hill is. Can't miss our trailer or our rail with all the graphics that are the same for HelmetPigtails. If you see us please come by. This will be our second time out there and we like that it will be pretty slow, we don't like crowds anyway!
  5. We are going to Dumont the day after Christmas, will it be busy out there or less people? We thought thanksgiving would be so full you couldn't move but it really wasn't that busy at all from what we expected. Anybody been there the day after Christmas? We will be there from December 26th thru December 30th. Thanks
  6. Thanksgiving was our first time ever in the sand and our group was very good at watching for quads or other rails, we would radio each other along the way if whoever was in front came up on anyone. also when we were at comp hill we were constantly on our radios telling each other where other riders were to the person actually going up comp hill. We did this during the Day as well as the night. We did see a lot of people going all over the place on Comp Hill, our friend told us about the right to left pattern before we got there so we knew, but if we had not gone with him we might have not known and been one of those going the wrong way. We did see a lot of near misses, we honestly did not do Comp Hill at night because of the amount of Quads and RZRs on the hill we didn't want to get into any accidents, so we just hung out and watched everyone having fun. Maybe erect some signs about the directions on comp hill, also some warning signs to remind people to watch their speeds??? signs could be places at the north and south poles as well as a reminder. Sorry to hear about the loss and our respects to the family and friends
  7. Need to find someone like you in Hesperia, CA! haha, your work looks really good.
  8. I think I was at this shop, very nice group of guys and clean welds.
  9. We bought the same turkey fryer. wasn't that the best turkey without all the oil! Anyway, here are some photos of our trip out there on Thanksgiving Our Granddaughter in our sandrail Me and my husband on Thanksgiving day Us helping a stranger pulling his sandrail on our trailer being towed out by our jeep and their jeep pulling our jeep! This was a blast Yes, even our sandrail has Pigtails At our Camp Site Our Daughter and our Grandbaby
  10. Thanks ADMIN When we go Christmas day we will check that out!
  11. We live in Hesperia, never heard of them, we take our rail over to Dan at Addictive koncepts who does all of our welding and cage work. I just called around and friends say that the shop your talking about is hit or miss and they may be open they may not be. If you get your RZR out, take it to Addictive, they just moved to I ave just north of bear valley road, their signs are not even up yet but they said they should be up this week or next. Good luck
  12. We have AT&T and we couldn't get signal at all the entire time we were there no matter where we were at. pretty much a few miles outside of Baker we lost signal until we left to go home and got signal as we came back towards baker. Anyone else have AT&T but did get service???
  13. Talking to him as well as many of the other vendors out there, they all said that with the cost, it is just too expensive to go out there. many who were there over thanksgiving said they would not be returning as all their profits went to pay for the vendor spots, passes, gas etc.. with the lack of people and the high cost we can see why, and the vendors prices were all very inexpensive, we were expecting to pay double for the comfort of having them there, but we will say, the hour drive each way to the doghouse was well worth the trip, if we have a problem out there in the future we will for sure make that drive again!
  14. We purchased several things from you this past weekend!
  15. We wanted to publically thank Doghouse for not only taking our call after they were closed on Friday night but allowing us to drive the hour to their place at 9pm and actually opening their store for us to get needed parts for our rail. without them opening our weekend was over and we got our parts and got them installed and we were running 15 minutes after getting back to Dumont. While we were there we sat with him and shot the sh%t and being beginners to the sandrail, he answered a ton of our questions from our float settings to our suspension issues we were also having. His prices were from what we felt cheaper than an autoparts store and he had everything in stock plus extras. If your in a bind in Dumont, Doghouse would be our recommended source for your sandrail needs. Everyone I guess in dumont knows Doghouse but we are glad people told us. Thanks again for opeing so late for us! Tom and Bunny Doghouse Repair (775) 727-93441371 W Basin Ave, Pahrump, NV 89060 www.doghouserepair.com
  16. We bought our pass at the valero gas station in Baker, made it a lot easier. if you wait to buy one until you get to the entrance, if there is a line your screwed. they have a special lane for people who already have the passes to roll through without stopping at all.
  17. This is AWESOME. very very rare this would ever happen for anyone. Kudos for helping them get their rail back.... Ok, we read every single post! now can we all see the sandrail that was stolen? it would be interesting to see it and the condition it was returned in. hopefully it was complete if the engine was still in the car.
