  5. He lives for speed and she does not at all...haha He has never driven or ridden in a buggy. He always said it doesn't look that fun. I said wait till you drive one. And once he got in and did a 50 mph slide and drove out of it with his foot to the floor he was hooked. Not to mention he was struggling to keep up with the group.
  6. Awesome terry. Ill look into the pads. I stoked my dad loved driving my car he wants to get himself one. Probably a car powered buggy but we will see. No prob on the scales that set is mine now. My dad has better ones currently under his race truck.

  8. Newly-your boys are awesome. Great meeting you and the wife. Paul- happy to do it. My dad drove my car for the first run on Sunday and did so much better I was pissed. Haha Now he is getting a sand car. Im stoked!!

  11. It was an awesome trip! I want to thank everyone for putting up with a new buggy driver like me... I was just trying to not get in the way and not die at the same time. Pete and his crew and LIGHTING fast on the dunes. I need a huge helicopter to pick up my 1350lbs (ouch) and drop me a few dunes over so I can catch up. pete- thanks for everything and let me know if you got a decent shot on your camera phone of my wheelie newly- nice meeting the fam and lunch was great at the drags. Feel better. Tim- Sorry you missed the scales ill bring them everytime now. Most likely going out the day after xmas. Terry- Take it easy on the body so you can ride all weekend. adam- you were ripping it up on your quad. I was surprised how fast you hit some of the sections with the short wheel base that you have. my email is jordanhiggins2002@yahoo.com if you got some go pro action. I should just sent you a new sd card and you send me that one so I can get all the footage Bert- thanks for info and tips man. And getting my lost butt back to camp.   12. We had lunch out there on the hill and only saw 5 drags I think total. Bad turn out!

  14. check out out the buggy round up trip under "Dumont happenings". it has pics of where we are camping and guys rigs so you know who to look for cause many of us do not know anyone or only a few. Im a new comer also
  15. Thanks. I just purchased a brand new one (cheap one). Carb on my gen is not working. Ill have to pull it off and see whats up either at dunes or when I return. Someone asked earlier. Its an onan5500

  17. Haha yay! I was suppose to be on the road. My trailer gen took a dump. Its not staying running. Not getting fuel. Checked fuel filter and pump are good I guess its the carb. Dammit
  18. I will look for your rig diesel. It stands out. Not sure with work if I am leaving tonight or tomo morning early.
  19. I actually weighed 3 buggies In the direct sand and at the shop on cement and it was off only 7llbs. With the 4 scales over each tire it doesn't have to be flat but a hard surface helps yes.
