    GTP

Are the GTP guys coming out for thanksgiving? They've got at least 1 part I got the approval to but so I need to pull the trigger before the wife changes her mind!!!!
  6. Day report- didnt see the dunes, did a rzr ride to the date farm today then explored the mines on the way back. Blew out both passenger side rims and tires on my friends rzr right as we got back to the dunes and that killed the day. Other than that weather has been great and riding has been perfect. A little bit of chop and whitches eyes are way worse than they were 10 years ago but still great to ride

  11. looks good but I already have a toy hauler, just need a place to put the rzr behind it
  12. Looking for a trailer big enough to haul a 4 seater rzr but don't need one of those massive units some of you guys have. WHATCHU GOT DDR!!!
  13. I was between the sky ranch and the old chicken ranch
  14. I would love to have a better place to empty out! the gas station (will remain unnamed) I have always had issues with (over charged me for fuel, had a pump that didn't kick off, workers didn't know their store, etc) and I will never give them by business again, so it would be nice to have a place to dump before getting back on the freeway, I'd even be willing to pay!
  15. instead of a traffic signal, it would be nice if they fixed the asphalt to cement transition at the intersection!!
  16. your truck will have no trouble with that!! As far as the setting up goes, maybe I'm just lucky but just about everything stays where it belongs in the trailer. 30 minutes to drop the rail and its trailer, find a place and level off, and unload 4 quads and we can go to bed if need be and do the camp set up in the morning (had to do it one time it was horrible and the windiest I have ever seen it but still 30 min). I personally love the idea of having a tow vehicle there so if we want to (read: wife forces us to, haha) run into Pahrump, or god forbid have to go pull something back to camp we have the vehicle for it.
  17. Don't know what kind of truck you have, but personally I prefer a fifth wheel. I'm sure there are others out there that will have a different opinion but, I've been very happy with both of mine. The biggest complaint you hear from the bumper pull guys is you lose the bed space, I personally use a gooseneck adapter with a B&W turn-over ball so my lost space is really less than a square foot. I carry a 110qt cooler up front with my gas cans strapped to it, 2 in bed side mount tool boxes with fire wood in between the boxes, another 40qt cooler between the wheel well and the hitch and my landing gear pads (read: discs), shovel and rake on the other side, PLENTY OF ROOM!!!!!!! And that's with a short bed! If you have a 1/2 ton then maybe you're in for a superlight or something smaller but if your 3/4 ton or more your options are pretty open either way. Airbags if you need them to help out and you should be good.
  18. I'm in the same boat as Duefreak. I've never had a gas smell even after spilling some. I also have the open floor plan and love that all the space can be used unlike with a garage model. Though the garage models tend to have a little more "homey" feeling in my opinion, but I'm not going out to the dunes to be at home.
  19. What about the building of "tracks"? We were coming back from a late day ride the Monday after President's day, and all 4 of us almost dove into a 3 foot wide over 2 feet deep track in the middle of the flats. Thankfully the first one of us had good lights and was able to stop in time, but one of my friend's did not have lights and it could have been horrible!!
