I'll be in Phoenix this weekend, but I was thinking about the next weekend too. Hopefully the weather stays like it is now, maybe the wind might calm down some as well. I need to get out somewhere soon....SF Woody :smoker:

Just a couple numbers from last year: Income: Little over 1M, almost 500k appropriated from the state, for total of 1.5M Outflow: Almost 1.5M We are not getting any appropriated funds from the state this coming year, so the only money coming in is from pass sales. Couple more numbers: Road and Camping maint: 251K Facility Maint: 119K Visitor Spt and Med Serv: 289K LEO's: 361K And there is alot more smaller outflows in there as well, so you can kinda see where the money is going. We and they know this year that some things will have to be put on the back burner. Maybe next year we can get some money from the Govt, but we can't rely on that. If you want to call anyone, call your state reps and ask why the appr. funds are going.....Semper Fi, Woody

Everytime they answer calls about this, just remember your keeping them away from there job and working for us. They work late, get paid more, there is alot of info in other posts about where the money goes and what has happened concerning next year and the fee increase. Just read a little bit, better yet, come on out to a meeting, you'll learn alot about what goes on out there. And they listen to us as well....SF Woody

I don't know how the finished product will turn out, Im sure better than what it was before. When I heard they were going to pave the road, I thought they meant paved like out in front of my house. But that's not gonna happen being it would cost about 5-7 million. I'm just hoping it turns out alot better than what I've heard so far....SF Woody

A small thing about the road. As of today they still need to do some more work to it. They still want to spray it and roll it. It was brought up, that it needs to be paved before that is done. So probably what will happen is they will grate it to one side, grade the other, put it back on, spray it and then roll it out, then vice versa to the other. I'll let Terry go into the rest of the details. We will see what happens with it soon......Semper Fi, Woody

Something about this little smilie I just kinda like I know, I know..... Well, finally got to look at the generator and another wire had broken off, 2nd one now. Wasn't as hard to fix at the cleanup weekend, but still, they shouldn't be just falling off like that. The bunks....well, I just don't know. My hauler went down this weekend, gotta get it to the shop, I don't think I'll be able to make it this weekend like I wanted too..... Who know's though, I'm kinda crazy sometimes....
