I saw these and they seemed like a great deal. Has anyone used them yet???? I have seen them on side x sides, I am wandering if they hold up on quads ?

I bought some from a different guy on ebay. They work great but it wasnt a complete kit. I had to buy 9006 adapters at auto zone and wire it in on my YFZ. Mine draw alot of power I need to get a bigger stator now. There great for duneing at night. If you get them check your voltage with a meter when your quad is running and lights are on. I had to recharge my battery last trip.

I too run their 50w kit in my Solteks.... but I am having some problems with one light firing, and have to turn them off and then back on again quickly to get it to ignite...

I guess you get what you pay for

i have read on another forum with another brand of 50 w hid's that the stock harness cannot handle the initial power it takes to fire up the hid's

have you tried the 35 watt ones instead of the the 50 watts??

is this happening with only the sol-tecs on, or other lights too? how many sol tecs?

I did a HID conversion to my solteks, I wired a 10g. hot and Neg through a 40amp relay and a maxifuse... I have more than enough wire in my harness. and I am using a HI/LOW foot switch out of a older ford truck to fire the relay. see the pics below

How long are the leads from the ballast. Are the ballast water tight. Where would I mount them on the Raptor?

about 1.5 to 2 ft, and the ballasts are sealed

thats the great thing about hid's JoeJOe...tearin the front end of yo' shiat down and figuring it out :rockwoot:

honestly, im not sure.....im still tryin to find a mounting place on my DS650 :MBdance:
