FireKracker Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Under the advise of Dunefreak, someone should post a meet and greet.... Most of the DDR "OG" dunners spent their weekend at Dumont last week. Since there is quite a few new members, we can put a face to the names by meeting at the south pole on Saturday at 2:00 and enjoy a cold one. 4 Quote
Monster Duner Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I have looked at all the maps and I cant find a south pole.... I found a north pole.... is that what you meant? Quote
dunefreak Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Ahh, broke the first rule about the DDR south pole. LOL That's ok, we've been giving it away for years. 2 Quote

dunefreak Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Better than hundreds of people actually showing up at the south pole and just staring at each other's groups instead of introducing themselves. lol That's what seems to happen most the time. Quote
fastony Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Im Hispanic. ..lol. or cuban.. while everybody was at south pole I was raiding ice chest for beer...lol. im kidding. Quote
White Rhino Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 yeah it should be call the stand and stare as Steve says.. I will say I went over to both groups and talked to them, one was from UT and AZ, and the other from Pahrump, but neither knew anything about the M&G 1 Quote
dunefreak Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 That's the problem with the south pole. It has become too popular. Back in the day nobody knew about it. We put it up and created it thinking only DDR people would know about it, but of course word spreads. Maybe we should start doing meet & greets back along the stretch past the south pole. Ya know, make it even farther out where nobody ever goes. Maybe at the base of the memorial hill or something. Quote
dunefreak Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 There you go. Even better, maybe a South/ SW pole Quote
